Crush
In Crush, author Phoef Sutton introduces the readers to Caleb Rush, popularly known as Crush. Crush is a security expert, bouncer, and bodyguard. Apart from working with the United States Marines, he has also served with the LA Street Gangs and even served time in prison. Crush happens to be the son of the very first Russian criminal leaders in the West Coast. One day, when Crush was on duty as a bouncer in one of the leading clubs in the West Coast, he finds himself at the center of an abduction. A woman was being abducted by 2 Russian thugs. Eventually, the woman who was being abducted pulls a gun on Crush. The two Russian thugs appear in the rearview mirror, and eventually, a gun chase ensues. As the car chase ensues, Crush and the unknown lady start talking, and she reveals that she is the daughter of one the leading businessmen in America. Apart from being one of the leading businessmen, Trusk also happens to be an embezzler and a defrauder of investors.

The feds, hundred of investors and the Russian Mafias are all looking for Stanley Trusk. From this point onwards, Crush roars on swiftly. Apart from being fairly violent at times, the novel is also frequently funny as well. Author Phoef Sutton pens down novels with great panache. All the characters in Crush have their flaws and are not invisible.

Fifteen Minutes-To Live
Fifteen Minutes-to Live is a fascinating and fast pace novel, which amalgamates a sweet vein of nostalgia with a turning and twisting mystery. Fifteen Minutes to Live is a narrative of a woman who lives with amnesia. When Carl, a high school lover of the woman shows up at her front door, he does not suspect that the woman has amnesia. Carl is a regular guy, who goes on with his day to day life. As the narrative continues, Carl eventually discovers that the woman he loved back in high school was struggling with amnesia. Just like Carl, the readers are definitely going to fall into the confusions and misconceptions, which was quite a lot of fun in Fifteen Minutes-To Live. Phoef Sutton’s style of writing is quite engaging, while the characters, on the other hand, are quite genuine as well. The situations and scenarios, on the other hand, are starkly true such that the readers cannot help but keep on turning the pages. Just like Crush, Fifteen-Minutes to Live is full of twists and turns.

The truth finally comes out on a night that was full of unmitigated terror, which may either be an end to Mr. Dark’s reign or mark a new beginning that will be blood-soaked. With that said, Midnight Special is an excellent mystery novel.
