Doctor Death: Harold Shipman is the first book in the British Criminals series by R.J. Parker and Michael Newton. If you are a big fan of true crime stories, then check this novel out!

When it comes to the most prolific serial killer in Britain (as far as killers are known, there may be one out there that is secretly holding the title), the title belongs to someone that most people might not know. Everyone has heard of Jack the Ripper, who spread terror and fear into the hearts of women and citizens of London. But have they heard of the physician turned murderer?

Shipman worked as a licensed physician. At the time, he was in theory adhering to the guidelines of medical practice set by the General Medical Council in 1858. As a doctor, his primary concern was ethically to be taking good care of all of his patients and acting in a way that was honest, open, and with integrity.

He would earn the name of Doctor Death in the media. This healer turned killer ended up doing more damage than the countless killers that came before him. He did not end up keeping those good medical oaths that he had taken and was supposed to meet. Even as the reader knows what this physician did, they may be wondering why he decided to take such a left turn and kill.

Why did he decide to do it? Pick up a copy of Doctor Death and read it all the way to the end to find out yourself!

Grindr Serial Killer: Stephen Port is the second true crime book in a series called British Criminals. If you enjoyed the first book in this series or you just love true crime stories, then find out what happens by getting a copy of this nonfiction book for yourself!

In the modern world , dating has changed a lot. The Internet and the ease of going online and using apps on our phones makes meeting people really easy. Meeting up to have sex can be accomplished simply by going on your phone and making a few clicks.

You can just easily go onto a site or an app and get your night or even day started. ‘Chemsex’ and Party and Play became popular and accessible through this manner, and it was not too long before combining sex and party drugs became the perfect way for Stephen Port to kill.

When gay men of a young age are discovered dead, it appears that there’s a pattern happening. Several victims have been found and they appear to have died because they used these sex drugs and they overdosed.

These parties may have been the location for their deaths, but did they really overdose or were they set up to look that way? The local police thought that it was a legitimate overdose on drugs, but there may be more happening than they really suspect.

It is not too late before Stephen Port becomes a suspect. The man was 41 years old and was even fairly well known. He had made an appearance on the television show ‘Celebrity Chef U.K.’ and was also reasonably popular.

He would end up being charged with the murder of four of these men’s deaths when arrested. The cause was apparently giving them GBH to the point of overdose. Known as the drug used for date rape, they were given too much to continue to live.

Port was accused of killing them, raping them, and then using the church yard to dump their bodies. He was convicted and since then, police are reviewing other overdose deaths discovered in London and multiple officers were investigated for not following up on an investigation due to discrimination.

Included are personal letters from Port to Cody Lachey, a friend, full of details. Check out this gripping true story by picking up a copy of this book by Allen R. Warner and R.J. Parker!
