R.S. Grey is an American author of fiction. She has a love for not only books, but the pleasure of eating chocolate, the company of a good black lab by your side, anything and everything that could qualify as reality television, anything that resembles cold weather, and similes and metaphors.

R.S. Grey is a best selling author and her novels have climbed the charts of lists in publications such as USA Today. She has written over a dozen novels by now and has found a niche group of readers that are devoted fans. She writes in the genre of romantic or erotic fiction.

R.S. Grey is the creator and writer of the Heart series of fiction. The series officially kicked off in 2014 with the release of the debut novel in this series, which is titled The Duet. The second book in the series came out one year later and is titled The Design.

The Duet is the exciting first novel in the Heart series by accomplished and talented author R.S. Grey! It can be tough to be Brooklyn Heart sometimes, but not most days when it comes to these days.

At just twenty-seven years old, Brooklyn is known for being a pop sensation. She is a superstar and people just cannot get enough. Every time she gets a microphone in her hand or in front of her, she charms audiences with her enchanting love songs.

She’s never been more popular, but is being a pop star interfering with her personal life? Brooklyn may sing about romantic love and star-crossed lovers and relationships that have gone wrong, but when it comes to her own personal life, things could not be more on pause.

She’s not in the middle of a love spell at all– this pop star is actually going through a dry spell! Could it be that her fame and her beauty are scaring the potential suitors away? Things just could not get any worse right now. When her labels ends up scheduling her for a performance at the Grammys with an up and coming singer named Jason Monroe, she’s actually strangely happy that it’s happened.

Brooklyn wonders if the soulful singer is interested in anything other than this career. She’s already fantasizing about what singing with him would be like and whether they will have any chemistry together or not. All of a sudden, she’s caught up in a whirlwind fantasy of imaginary thoughts about whether or not they will be a good match.

The only thing is that Jason has had a history of not being willing to share the stage. He thinks of himself more as a lone wolf and certainly not the type to get up there and sing cheesy duets with a partner. Writing songs and recording something together also seems like a bit of a stretch.

Jason is not thrilled to share his ranch or the stage with Brooklyn. Even when they meet, he thinks that she’s just a touch sassy for his taste. Brooklyn isn’t happy either that he seems so underwhelmed with her appearance. With a duet expected of both of them, what is she supposed to do?

Brooklyn would like nothing better than to go out there and record a track that trashes Jason Monroe from top to bottom. Sure, she’s taking his stand-offish nature a little bit personally, but wouldn’t you if you were a pop star with a heart of gold?

She’s going to have to figure out how to navigate this tough guy crooner if the label’s going to be happy at the end of the day. Does Brooklyn truly have what it takes to get through this and come out on top? Or will the fans and the label be disappointed in them both in the end?

You’re going to have to pick up The Duet by author R.S. Grey to find out for yourself!

The Design is the engaging second book in R.S. Grey’s Heart series. When it comes to romance, sometimes love has to take a back seat. For Cameron Heart, things have always come to her easily. Even when sh’s had to work for them, her life always just clicks into place.

She got into her college easily, but then again, that was a result of planning and preparing. She studied hard all through college and was there on graduation day. From there she went on to this present day and she is now on the brink of landing a huge job.

That is, if Cameron can nail the interview. It’s one of the more promising ones that she’s ever dreamed of having, so to have this chance fresh off of graduation is a huge deal. The interview is going to be at an architecture firm, and it’s everything that Heart has ever wanted. It is, in short, a really big huge deal.

Now she’s nervously counting down the minutes until it begins and she’s starting to have a bit of anxiety. Heart knows that a big reason why she is here is because of her older sister. That’s because Grayson Cole is the owner of the firm and just happens to be friends with Cameron’s sibling, so now she’s getting an opportunity that is pretty much nepotism with one degree removed.

It doesn’t feel that great to be sitting in the lobby waiting to be interviewed just because you know someone, but they say it isn’t what you do or how you do it but who you know. This is living proof of it. But when it comes to fighting for your profession and your career in this economy, you have to do what you have to do to get ahead.

The thing is, she already knows Grayson. She’s met him before and has found him to be quite an intimidating guy to be around. The job is way too good to forsake voluntarily right now, so Heart has to decide which is more important: her pride or her career. What will happen and will she get the job at the end of the day? Pick up The Design to find out!
