Rachel Medhurst is a popular urban fantasy fiction author from Surrey England. After writing her first manuscript for years, she finally self-published “The Deadliners” in 2014. Since that time, she has penned more than fifty works of fiction among them novellas, collections of short stories, single-standing novels, and several series.
Medhurst has said that becoming an author has to be one of the best things she has ever done. She believes writing helps her write stories that show others that no matter where they come from they can still chive their dream.

Medhurst grew up in Surrey and learned from when she was very young that life is always hard work. Since she had a very challenging childhood, she used to turn to books as a form of escape.
Books gave her hope and hence she now writes to pen her novels to give others hope. She now has the belief that whatever happens one can always overcome it no matter how hard.

When Medhurst was in her twenties, she came to realize that allowing her past to dictate her future meant that she would never move ahead. Despite everything that had happened to her, she made the decision to forgive everything and accept what had happened to her.
She forgave the people that upset and hurt her over the years. Rachel also forgave herself for allowing the things that had happened to her to impact her life negatively.

Rachel Medhurts has now made a reputation for writing fiction that is always underlined with existential answers and values.

Growing up, Rachel Medhurst loved reading and believes that this very early reading has a huge impact on her becoming a professional author. She still remembers how her mother used to read to her Enid Blyton’s “The Faraway Tree.” She used to get lost in the story and always felt as if she was right there with the characters.

As soon as she was able, she began reading it on her own and it was from this that she got the inspiration to write. Rachel Medhurst penned her first story when she was eight which was a series about two American girls.

Since she had always been a person who loved her freedom and independence, she decided to self-publish her novel and surprisingly made a huge success of it. She has learned a lot ever since she published her debut and has said that she would not change anything were she to ever go back.
She loves how she gets to control her creativity and present herself the way she wants unlike if she was doing it with traditional publishers.

Rachel Medhurst’s novel “Magically Bound” is the story of Devon Jonx who is half witch and half warlock. However, she does not care less about which magic works better. All she is interested in is keeping her head down and getting on with her new employment at the Hunted Witch Agency where she is the head investigator.
Conversely, a recent mistake has put her in line to become the next leader of the warlocks. This means that she has just one choice to make. SHe needs to leave everything including hER life as a witch behind to take up hER new role as a warlock or else lose hER warlock magic for eternity.
Complicating her choice is the fact that someone had been trying to tear down the warlock coven. If she is unable or unwilling to stop the warlocks might just end up annihilated.

It does seem like an impossible task until a distractingly handsome witch named Gerard Freshwater explodes into his life. He seems determined to make him see that being a witch is not just the only option but the best option.
It makes for a beautifully written story of a young conflicted half-warlock/half-witch woman. She is not accepted by either coven given that she is the first of her kind. What will she ultimately decide to be between a warlock and a witch?

“Magically Bonded” by Rachel Medhurst continues to follow the life and times of Devon Jinx the half witch half warlock.

Devon and Gerard her partner are in for a roller coaster ride as they head out and investigate people that have been kidnapping witches. But once the secrets start coming out things are not so easy and Devon learns of these secrets last.
However, the truth will eventually come out and the hunted witch agency will blow right open the secret identity of the head of the slave ring.

Overall it is a dynamic story with a lot of surprises to keep one reading right through. It comes with well-developed and funny characters and the plot moves at an intense pace as secrets come out, skeletons come out of closets at an alarming rate and personal histories are torn open.
Full of magic and action combined with a little sexual tension, it makes for a popping unputdownable read.

Rachel Medhurst’s novel “Magically Betrayed” starts right where the second novel of the “Hunted Witch Agency” series left off. The agency has been trailing the head of the witch slave trade and Devon is determined to bring them down.

Soon enough, she will realize that the people who want to destroy her are close to home than she ever knew. The only thing keeping her sane is the presence of Gerard, who is just as determined to take down the Hunted Witch Agency.

But then disaster strikes when she is kidnapped by a witch that seems to have a personal vendetta against her. Devon is ready to take all the torture in the world but is never going to stop in the mission to destroy the witch’s enterprise and the witch herself.
She has been made a disgrace to the warlocks even though she is witch royalty that has been kidnapped. However, she has managed to get her magic under control for the time being. But how long will she be able to postpone the inevitable?
With plenty of turns and twists, romance, and action, it makes for an unputdownable work of fiction.
