Publication Order of A Very Darcy and Elizabeth Holiday Romance Books
Rachelle Ayala is an American author of fiction. She has written books that fall into the romance genre and she has also written guides to writing and more, such as with her book Romance in a Month that teaches prospective writers how to pen steamy stories. Ayala has also written a workbook that focuses on hundreds of ways to get to know the character of your story completely.
She is a bestselling author of novels that could be placed into the romantic suspense and contemporary romance categories! Ayala enjoys penning stories that are emotionally challenging but also tend to have happy endings with the characters getting what they want most of the time. She likes to write an uplifting story as she believes in the great power that hope and love can have to transform lives.
Ayala has won a few awards for her work. In 2015 she received the Angie Ovation Award for her novel, Knowing Vera. It is the third book in the Chance for Love series. She also received a Readers’ Favorite Gold Award in the same year for her book A Father for Christmas. Christmas Stray also received the same award the next year, while her novel A Pet for Christmas received an honorable mention.
Rachelle Ayala is the creator and author of many series. She has written the Men of Spring Baseball series of fiction, the Have a Hart and the Quarterback’s Hart series, the extremely popular Chance for Love series, and is the creator of the Sapphire Falls Universe novels. She has also penned the Bad Boys for Hire series, the Remington series, and a variety of Christmas themed romantic novel series.
There is no doubt that Rachelle Ayala is a prolific writer, and if you get into the romance novel genre enough, you are bound to come across one of her stories! Check out her Chance for Love series, which kicked off with the release of Broken Build. It was followed by the sequel Hidden Under Her Heart and is followed by Knowing Vera, the third book in the series, critically acclaimed by readers and critics and an award-winning story.
The main character in the Chance for Love series is Jen Jones in the first book. She is a young woman that seems to have it all, but trouble might not be that far away. When things start to get a little dodgy, will she be able to do what it takes to get out of this nightmare at last? In the second novel, Maryanne Torres is on a hunt for true love; but what will she do when it all goes horribly wrong?
Broken Build is the debut novel in the Chance for Love series by Rachelle Ayala. When it comes to true love, sometimes you can find it when you least see it coming. Jen Jones is a beautiful woman that really seems like she embodies that idea of having it all. For someone her age, she has a lot going for her. Not that she minds; after all, she works hard to get everything that she has.
What she does have includes a brand new degree from college and one of the most toned bodies in the area. Professionally she is doing well too– she’s working in the Silicon Valley gold mines (figuratively, of course) at one of the biggest start ups around. Jen has the life, the youth, the job, and there’s no denying that she’s attractive. Nothing could go wrong now.
The one thing that people might not suspect about her is that bad times are to come. When a man connected to her past gets hit by a car and ends up dying in a hit and run, it may spell more trouble for Jen than she ever could imagine. Now she is dealing with threatening phone calls from anonymous callers and her boss Dave Jewell finds blood on his car. Things are starting to get out of hand.
Dave Jewell is the CEO and founder of the company and he has a protective interest in his employee. He feels horribly that she’s being targeted by thugs and now they’re coming after everyone around her. He needs Jen writing code and doing work, not being harassed and blackmailed. That simply will not do.
When the criminals come for Jen, she has no choice but to turn to Dave and his embrace. The unlikely pair starts to find that they’re falling for each other– but with killers in their midst, can they ever truly be together? Will they make it out alive?
With a killer coming for them and others at risk, Jen and Dave may not be the star-crossed lovers that they thought they were. Can they make it through all of this without being torn from each other? You are going to have to pick up Broken Build to find out for yourself!
Hidden Under Her Heart is the second novel in Rachelle Ayala’s Chance for Love series. The main character in this novel is not Jen but Maryanne Torres. She’s a young woman that is determined to change her lifestyle for the purposes of finally getting married.
Maryanne has told herself that she’s going to stop dating and having sexual relations and instead find a man to marry. She thinks it might help if she joins a church youth group and she might even meet a nice guy through church. One night she goes to an innocent party held at her pastor’s residence.
Everyone is having fun, but the alcohol that everyone is drinking soon shifts the mood wilder and wilder. Things go awry as Maryanne ends up being in a situation that she never expected, and she is found unconscious in the parking lot of the church the next day by Lucas Knight.
Even though Lucas helped her, he immediately is pinpointed as the prime suspect in the case. Maryanne is totally unable to figure out who attacked her and she could not identify who did it, which should be enough. Still, Lucas finds himself in a race to clear his name and try to protect Maryanne in the process.
