Realm Enforcers by Rebecca Zanetti
Author Rebecca Zanetti pens the “Realm Enforcers” series of paranormal romance novels and it is a spinoff of the “Dark Protectors” books. The series began publication in the year 2015, when “Wicked Ride” was released.
The series revolves around all of the members of the Coven Nine and the romances they have. The novels are all stand alones. The “Dark Protectors” focuses more on the vampire part of the paranormal, this series focuses more on the witch part.
“Wicked Ride” is the first novel in the “Realm Enforcers” series and was released in the year 2015. The novel stars Alexandra Monzelle and Kellach Dunne. Alexandra Monzelle, a heat-packing and tough-fighting vice cop in Seattle, and she has little interest in being protected. Her sex-kitten heels and short skirt are only tools to lure suspects into talking about the lethal new drug that hits the streets. She is able to take care of herself and then some. She just can’t seem to get that through to Kellach Dunne.
Kellach is a new import out of Dublin, and he has landed at a vicious motorcycle club’s heart that deals in drugs, guns, and mayhem. He’s all rough power, and all male. All interference in her investigation, too. Possibly he’s a good guy, but maybe not. Lex knows that an affair with an immortal like him would risk it all. No matter how delicious he appears to be.
Kell and Lex have animalistic passion yet they still make quite the cute couple. The book flows due to the action in it. It is a lot of fun to watch them attempt to battle it out to get control in the relationship. Zanetti’s writing is outstanding here and her world building helps absorb the reader into this world.
“Wicked Ride” is the second novel in the “Realm Enforcers” series and was released in the year 2015. The novel stars Cee Cee Kyllwood and Daire Dunne. Daire Dunne is more than ready to take a short break from his work as a Coven Nine Enforcer. He spots a gorgeous blonde across one of the Titans of Fire parties, it is not too long before she ends up on the back of his Harley on the fast track to his place. One overheated kiss in, the woman drugs Daire and robs him of some valuable files that cannot, under any circumstances fall into enemy hands. The hunt’s on, once he comes to.
Cee Cee Kyllwood’s got the information to take down the enemy that destroyed her family, she can implement her perfect plan to get revenge. Nothing is going to stop her, not even one shockingly sexy enforcer that barges into her life. Not even that fire-branding and amazing sex that engulfs the two of them. If Daire ever figures out just who family actually is, all bets are off.
Readers loved CeeCee and Daire, finding them to be very kick ass and were engrossed in their story right from the beginning.
“Wicked Burn” is the third novel in the “Realm Enforcers” series and was released in the year 2016. The novel stars Simone Brightson and Nikolaj Veis. Simone Brightson knows that she can beat the rap that her enemies have pinned on her. This Irish witch is no one’s fool, and she didn’t get to her job on the Coven Nine high council without some serious power. Her cousins would like her to hide out, and somehow they’ve convinced her arch enemy to play get away driver.
Of all the guy’s she has known, Nikolaj Veis is the toughest to intimidate. With demon dark eyes and inscrutable beauty, he is just as dangerous as he is beautiful. He knows better than to intimidate Simone. He pulls up on a roaring bike telling her she can get on or fight it out, she grabs a fistful of his jacket and holds on tight.
Running from the law might not the brightest idea. However, when it comes to Nick, a blazing fast ride and hot pursuit are just what Simone is looking for.
“Wicked Kiss” is the fourth novel in the “Realm Enforcers” series and was released in the year 2017. The novel stars Victoria Monzelle and Adam Dunne. Victoria Monzelle is used to living on the edge, seeing as how she works as an informant for the DEA. However, she’s not too fond of getting kidnapped. Definitely not by some bad boy witches with fancy-colored fire that they shoot at people. So when Adam Dunne turns up and claims to be a witch enforcer, she isn’t going to put her life in his hands based solely on his words. It doesn’t matter how smart and smooth and beautifully Irish his words sound to her. On the run from a tribunal of witches, she won’t make it too far.
Before she knows it, Adam’s word is all that keeps her from being executed. Just-gotta-ruffle-him and sophisticated Adam vows to make her his one eternal mate, unpredictable and wild as she is. All to save her from a sentence that means certain death. She has no interest in being anybody’s pity date, however. If they think that she’s unpredictable now, they should wait and see what comes next.
“Wicked Bite” is the fifth novel in the “Realm Enforcers” series and was released in the year 2017. The novel stars Nessa Lansa and Bear. While hunting for a drug lord that is killing fellow witches, Nessa Lansa’s instincts point to the Grizzly motorcycle club. It might be because Bear, their leader, is the silent and strong shifter type. More alpha male and muscle than any woman could ignore and warm brown eyes. This makes Nessa’s plot to seduce and then betray him that much more dangerous.
Bear doesn’t trust this blue-eyed and curvy witch. Nessa could heal the injuries that are sapping his strength, though. Since he cannot stop thinking about her teasing smile and her lush body, her plans to mate him to reclaim power of her own is extremely tempting. One little problem. Once a desire this wild is let loose, no one’s ever going to control it.
