Rebecca Zanetti is an American citizen who writes books classified in the paranormal romance, contemporary romance and romantic suspense genres. She was raised in a place called Hayden Lake in Idaho. She completed High School in 1988 and graduated with a BA from Pepperdine University where she had majored in political science. While at the university, she worked as editor in chief of a newspaper called ‘The Graphic.’ She later enrolled, studied law and graduated from University of Idaho and worked in small firms and large ones as well. She concentrated on writing and on her family from 2010 , taught law for a while and quit to concentrate on full time writing in the year 2013. She and her husband live in Pacific Northwest together with their children and their extended family. Rebecca belongs to Novelist’s INC. and is also a member of an International writers’ organization. She was formerly a member at other institutions including Idaho’s State Bar, Wisdomworks, CASA and the Women’s Center.

Writing career
Rebecca started her writing career in the year 2008 and finished a manuscript on young adults in the paranormal romance genre. Rejection upon rejection led her to rewrite the manuscript to be for adults. ‘Fated’ was a vampire romance she wrote after chick lit. The book was later released among the series called Dark Protectorate. The book, ‘Provoked,’ became a bestseller on USA Today. Others in the ‘Shadowed’ and ‘Tamed'(Novella) series followed later as bestsellers while ‘Marked’, became New York Times best seller.

The book ‘Forgotten sins’ classified under the romantic suspense genre was written while she was writing the Dark Protectorate books. At an auction in 2013, she signed a 4-book contract for ‘Forgotten Sins’. This book, among others like ‘Blind Faith’ and ‘Sweet Revenge’ became USA Today’s bestsellers. Rebecca signed book deals for several of her other books in 2013 and 2014. She also confesses that her career in law had an impact on her writing and gives her take on both worlds of law and writing as being extremely competitive but worth the effort though scaring.

The book, ‘Over the Top’ (Maverick Montana no. 4)

This 174 page book is a romantic story between Dawn Freeze and Hawk Rain. In the book, Dawn had loved Hawk for many years to the point that it became a public secret in their town. Hawk has a tall and lean frame; the perfect description of being hot. Topped up with eyes that penetrates to the deepest part of the soul, this is one man to die for.

With a week’s holiday to spare and a compelling attraction he has for Dawn, which he has fought for long, this is the point he makes it clear that he wants to pursue Dawn. The only hitch is that her brother is his best friend. That notwithstanding, Dawn is fully grown now and her alluring look are what Hawk can’t have enough of. He succeeds in having one amorous night with the girl of his dreams only to wake up to the realization that imminent danger looms around those he loves and especially Dawn. He must distance himself from her in order to protect her.

The question is whether one week is long enough for their romance to blossom and if Hawk has to leave so soon, what will happen to Dawn? Hawk has a job, to hunt down a criminal: a drug lord, to which he must return. The book presents the main characters in an artistically classic manner that has readers quickly identifying with the situation surrounding their romance.

The book, ‘Twisted’ (Dark Protectors no. 5.5)
This 103 page book is a paranormal romance novel. The story revolves around Maggie and Terrent Vilks. Kurjans captured Maggie and experimented on her. As a result, she lost her memory and any memory she had of her past. She is a wolf-shifter. When a cure for shifters is finanlly found, Maggie is eager to concentrate and rebuild her life with the hope of letting go off some memories if not most, from her past. But in the world closely separated by a thin line between dreams and dawn, a suspicious scottish voice, like that of Terrent VIlks, also a wolf-shifter is heard. Not only does it sound dark but also deep. Maggie hears this voice. Terrent is one man Maggie had kidnapped years earlier and that had made him angry but Maggie believes that kidnapping him was necessary.

On his part, after some investigations, Terrent understands the reason behind the demons’ death penalty on Maggie’s head but he has been playing his cards very closely to his chest for years and is not letting on. He also remembers what happened between him and Maggie in the past. He has had a 10-year long wait for Maggie to come round and remember him. He concludes that Maggie is in the exact place he would like her to be. He also figures that once he knows what the Kurjans did, then moves on to make the demons subservient so that they leave Maggie alone, he will make sure that she falls in love with him once again. He feels at an advantage because he knows the ways of the demons and is counting on being used to having tussles with them to work in his favor.

Terrent and Maggie were mates before and Terrent hopes he can reclaim his position at Maggie’s side. For readers of the paranormal, this is just the novel to nap with. The emotions, suspense and humor in the book keep tagging at the readers heart strings, leaving them with a craving for more and at the same time making the book a must-read for paranormal romance lovers.

Conclusion
With so many titles to her name, Rebecca Zanetti has managed to hit best selling lists and continuously added more books to her series so much so that there is no end seemingly in sight to her classic writing. She loves writing and her readers love her back in equal measure. They keep waiting for her to roll out newer books that often turn out to be hard-to-put down. Her literary writing capabilities have been adequately honed over the years and she especially credits her former law career for giving her a launching pad to great depths and contributing immensely to her achieving incredible heights in writing.
