Richard Todd loves to call himself an entrepreneur, inventor, and writer of bestselling suspense, science fiction, and thriller fiction.

Over the years, he has been a regular contributor to several prestigious publications that include the “San Francisco Chronicle” and the Huffington Post.

During this time working on the papers, he interviewed many famous and well-known people in the world.

Some of the people he has interviewed include Chelse Sexton the author of “Who Killed the Electric Car,” Neil deGrasse Tyson the famous astrophysicist, and Sir Richard Branson the chairman and founder of the Virgin Group.

Todd is an entrepreneur and inventor in his own right and currently has at least four patents in the information technology industry.

Similar to techno-thriller author Michael Crichton, he has made his name with his exceptional skills at weaving into his novel some real-life science.

Todd published his debut novel “The Twin Towers” in 2019 and used the momentum from the commercial and critical success of the novel to become a bestselling author. He now has more than half a dozen novels to his name.

He currently makes his home on a California ranch where he lives with Laura his wife and the dozens of rescue animals he cares so much about.

When he isn’t writing his novels he loves to spend much of his time as a competitive horseback rider.

“The Twin Towers,” by Richard Todd is a novel set on September 10, 2001. The lead is Kyle Mason, a Special Forces Major who is on a honeymoon with Padma Mahajan his bride at the SoHo Grand Hotel in New York.
The hotel is located a stone throw’s away from where Padma is employed at the North Tower of the World Trade Center.

When she steps out to grab a cigarette and coffee, a stranger comes into their vacation suite and tells Kyle that they are going to be victims of a horrible catastrophe.
The tragedy will ultimately cause the destruction of the twin towers of the World Trade Center and in the process kill his wife. The mysterious visitor asks him to work with him to try to avert the September 11 terrorist attacks.

As the first novel of the Time Tunnel series, it is a beautiful reimagining of one of the most critical points in American history. It would result in decisions that would set in motion events that would inform the course set by the American empire for decades.

Richard Todd’s novel “The Empire” is the thrilling follow-up to the debut novel of the “Time Tunnel” series. Following the tragedy of September 11, 2001, Padma Mahajan is mourning the loss of Major Kyle Mason, her newlywed husband.

He had been killed while trying to fight off the terrorists in their attempt to crash a plane into the World Trade Center. She watched in horror as a plane narrowly missed crashing into the North Tower of the twin towers.

Just then a strange man comes into her apartment who has some impressive knowledge about the future. Making use of that information, Padma soon rises to become Empress of America and the wealthiest person in the world.

But then her rule is challenged by an authoritarian regime and she is forced to flee to the past through the Time Tunnel. Things only get worse when they are hopelessly thrown off course when they get into an accident in the Time Tunnel.

Lost in the reaches of time, they will have to make use of their knowledge of the future to get out of a heinous massacre.

Even though they are interested in good for their society, they still have to deal with Annika Wise a colonel that has been ordered to take them out.

“The Eclipse” which is the third novel of the “Time Tunnel” series by Richard Todd provides an interesting look into the impact Annika Wise had on her world.

The lead in the novel is Annika Wise the colonel who finds herself stranded in time in 1890. After Padma Mahajan and Kyle Mason went back to their own time in 2008, Annika finds herself stuck in Deadwood in the last decade of the 19th century.

Following the harrowing defeat of the American Army at the Grand River Massacre, the military is determined to exact revenge on her and several of her allies.

Things got really bad for Annika as the Teddy Roosevelt and WR Hearst’s administration labeled her a witch when she makes a prophecy that San Francisco would be destroyed in 1906.

She is being targeted by Pinkerton agents and it seems her feat is sealed until some mysterious man from the past intervenes. Together the two make use of their knowledge to determine important events in history.

But then things only get worse when Kyle Mason is sent back to the past to stop Annika through any means necessary.
