She was wrong, as she gets the Soul Bound she wanted on her first wild moon before everything was ruined. However, things change this time because her only hope dies when the wild moon finally shows her the mate.
She feels devastated when she realizes that it’s the man who ruined her life, and she isn’t going to allow that to happen under her nose. She wasn’t expecting Jonathan to turn out as her mate as she strongly hates him. She comes up with a plan to leave the town forever, and while out there, she’ll start looking for her parents.
Dani will never allow her ex to claim her and runs to follow her missing father’s search for the lost shifter city. Her parents left eight months ago when they discovered she was adopted and confronted them for hiding it from her. She also wants to know what happened to her parents and uses that to stay ahead of her ex and the pack alpha.
When she reads her father’s journal and decides to look further to know where he stopped, she spends every penny she has trying to locate her parents. In her mission to find her parents, she is a mysterious and dangerous man whose team is looking for a lost city that happens to be the same as the one Dani is looking for.
Everything she discovers turns everything she has lived believing upside down. It’ll probably change her life in ways she has never imagined before. Dani didn’t know that the danger of the ancient shifter God and soul bond would come at a high price. Can she finally find the city her parents were looking for?
She doesn’t care even when she knows rejecting the bond could end up killing her, but she knows that anything else is better than being Soulbound with someone she hates with all her heart. She’s ready to do whatever it takes to be free of him. Will she fight it, or will she end up dead?
Dani is a kickass heroine who knows who she is, wolf, fate, soul-bound mate, and has decided that her alpha will not dictate her future anymore. There are missing parents, an unwanted soul bound, a journal with clues, weirdos, and a strange sex beast popping up in dreams.
The story is well written with unique and compelling characters. Dani is a likable character who always stands for herself when mistreated and has never failed to speak up for her needs. The story is told from Dani’s perspective, giving an insight into her run in search of her parent and Pack leader.
The dynamic world-building takes the reader into the adventure of a lifetime.
Fire Dragon’s Bride
Fire Dragon’s Bride is the first installment in the High House Draconis Series. What Olivia Lawton wants is to purchase a property for a new client, which will take her on the path of a huge payday in her life.
