Robert M. Drake is a bestselling poet that has written some very popular collection of poems over the years.

The youngest of the children of Colombian immigrants, he was born and brought up in Miami Florida. His mother then used to work as a factory worker, while his father worked at the Jackson Memorial Hospital as a maintenance man.

He still remembers how poor they were as he would never get any books at the annual fair like the other kids. Since they could also not afford cable TV, he began illustrating and writing his own fan stories as a seven year old.

Drake then went to Miami Coral Park Senior High, where he was bullied a lot. Most days he would just stay at home pretending to be ill so that he could paint and write.

In college, he discovered “The Stranger,” by Albert Camus in addition to Virginia Woolfe and John Steinbeck that had a significant influence on him.
He would then head to the Florida International University, where he studied music, sculpture, painting and digital communication.

Following his graduation, Robert M. Drake got a job at a small company, where he worked as a content developer. Soon after, he moved to Univision, the Spanish language broadcaster, as an art director.

Since he had an old Royals typewriter, he would often type poems on paper and in 2012 he started uploading them on Instagram. He also used to spray paint and stencil his poems that he pasted around the city’s sidewalks.

Two years later, he had more than 40,000 followers but he experienced exponential growth when Khloe Kardashian started regularly reposting his work. By 2015, he had more than 150,000 followers and his Instagram posts were regularly getting more than 2000 reposts.

He also expanded to Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr and given how many celebrities were following his work, it was not long before he had millions of followers across the social media platforms.

He published “Beautiful Chaos” , his debut collection in 2014 and the work went on to become an Amazon bestselling title when he quit his job in TV to become a full time author.

Robert M. Drake writes verse with visual appeal and a succinctness which have for the most part been responsible for his massive success. They are usually poems that are concise, short and easy to relate to as they are full of words about love, self discovery, heart and loneliness.

He makes use of personal experiences to make some very beautiful lyrical text which shows a genuine expression of emotion. With more than a million followers across the many social media channels, he has become one of the most popular poets in the sphere.

Robert M. Drake still works and lives in Miami and is known for maintaining a low profile. He often turns down invitations to television interviews and poetry readings as he shys away from attention.

By 2018 he had more than a dozen very popular works to his name.

“Black Butterfly” by Robert M. Drake is a fantastic and extraordinary collection of poems. These are works that will get one reading every single word, sentence and paragraph in every single poem.

You will look at every image as you try to figure out the brilliant stories therein. Many of the words that Drake uses could have different explanations and meanings most of which will apply to a range of experiences. This is quite the feat given that he gets much of his inspiration from his own experiences.
He writes some very enjoyable poems that call upon the experiences that most of us have. He also makes use of common incidents that will bring happy and sad memories. The work reads like a song as it brings back all manner of memories that will make you cry, smile and think, sometimes out loud.

I believe this is one of the most enjoyable aspects of the work as it is great at making one think about the things around them. It makes the reader appreciate the people they have had or have in their lives.

Robert M. Drakes’ novel “Beautiful Chaos” is a gorgeous, emotional, beautiful and heartwarming novel that is about giving meaning to lives. It is all about searching for the brilliance that can be found in every one of us.

It tells of finding love, which always changes lives as we get to find a place where we can truly belong and understand our lives. Drake magically weaves his words to make for some very beautiful poems that could make one shudder. Some will even bring goosebumps and bring tears to its readers.

It is a perfect work for almost every person who is alive in the modern world. It is particularly poignant for someone that is searching for something meaningful, and found the quest so far futile.

Many people that do not realize the good in their lives and the beauty that may be found in it may find this a very beautiful way to be made aware of it. Just like the Earth, Drake acknowledges that humans are just as chaotic.

However, despite the chaos we are all beautiful as long as we embrace the happenings in life without regrets.
It is a novel best read with deep immersion which allows one to interpret their feelings and come to a better understanding of themselves.

“A Brilliant Madness” by Robert M. Drake is a brilliant collection of poetry the author penned over the course of eleven years between 2004 and 2015. The overarching theme in the collection is losing oneself to modern life in the 21st century.

He writes cynical and dark poems with some very cryptic titles such as “The Middle of Nowhere,” “No Time to Breathe” and “The Street is Empty.”
One of the standout poems in the series is “The Hunger that Never Ends.” It tells of the struggle by modern humans to get more things from more love, more money, more power and more of everything.

Most people are never satisfied and this is what often results in the ending of relationships and self destructionDrake also writes about the need for individuality in the poem “More You Please.” This is an ode to anyone that feels different from the regular masses.

He asserts that it is critical to appreciate differences in individuals as this is what makes us all different. It is a refreshing take on what it is to be alive at a time of harsh social standards and developments in technology.
