Born on the 9th of October 1956 in Omaha, Robert Reed developed an interest in reading and writing from an early age. After graduating in 1987 from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a degree in biology, Reed worked as a lab technician and then a full-time science fiction writer.

Down the Bright Way
