Best Rose Pressey Books
Forever Charmed is one of the best performing books by Rose Pressey. In this book, Rose Pressey introduces the reader to Halloween Laveau. Halloween might have been a witch; however, her magic is severely lacking especially when it comes to casting out spells. Her magic is lacking such that she does not have the ability to bring dead flowers to life. To her mother, Halloween is a disappointment, considering the fact that she was optimistic for her, especially after she was born. Halloween Laveau great auntie had left behind an extremely large manor. She decides to convert the large manor into a Bed-and-breakfast. However, this does not mean that she did not have anything else to do with the house. Twenty-four hours after opening the bed and breakfast, two good-looking strangers show up, claiming that they had seen the bed and breakfast sign.
Despite the fact that the two strangers pretend that they have no idea who the other person is, Halloween could still sense that there was something, the two were hiding. The two strangers, Liam and Nick, could deny that they do not know each other, but Halloween was more than determined to find out who they are. Halloween eventually finds the spell book, which belonged to her great aunt. All of a sudden, she was now finally able to perform magic effortlessly. To Halloween, this was exceedingly shocking considering the fact that she was not able to do magic at all including the simplest spells. One day when she was performing a spell, Halloween accidentally brought a ghost back to life.
The ghost began to reveal secrets about the manor house and the spell book that Halloween had in her possession. With the assistance of her best friend, Halloween will be able to figure out, why Liam and Nick are in town. She will also be able to tell, what the book really means. With that said, the story has been superbly written with fascinating twists. Rose Pressey does an excellent job of not only keeping the readers guessing but also trying to figure out the clandestine in the book. Both Nick and Liam are all seeking Halloween’s attention. They are also more than determined to lay their hands on the spell book. The great thing about the Pressey is that she does not let the reader know who is lying and who is telling the truth. Each of the characters tells Halloween that the other is out to harm her.
Me and My Ghoul Friends is another excellent read in the Laurie Donovan book series. This is a highly entertaining read. The protagonist, Laurie is in charge of a bookstore. Laurie has the ability and talent to not only see ghosts and also assist them to crossover. This, in turn, creates an exceedingly hilarious such as Abraham Lincoln, with many others appears. Eventually, things begin to pick up, when a new coffee shop is opened next to her. It does not take long before Laurie begins to date Callahan, the coffee owner. On her first date, Laurie does encounter numerous adventures by picking up numerous undead friends.
How to Date a Werewolf is another excellent book by Rose Pressey. Pressey introduces the readers to Rylie Cruz, a young lady who resides in New Orleans. She resides in an apartment, which she happens to share with, Jenifer, her longtime girlfriend. The great thing is that apartment is located right above, Rylie Cruz’s office known as Find A Mate. Rylie’s job is to find partners for the paranormals, who reside within her locale. From to time, she also works with humans as well. This is exceedingly easy for Cruz because she is a werewolf. Rylie is not the typical werewolf that we tend to read about in paranormal adventures. Rylie Cruz is your day to day girl, who loves to rock Versace and other designer cloths, bags, and accessories. Cruz’s only problem is the night that the full moon usually appears.
With that said, this novel is cute and funny at the same time. Abraham Lincoln is one of the ghosts that follows the protagonist around and constantly pushes Laurie to get married. Abraham Lincoln is constantly referred to as Abe in this book. Abraham is more than convinced that Laurie is getting old and needs to get married as soon as possible. Apart from Abraham, Laurie has another friend, an old lady who from time to time, pushes Laurie to talk to her husband, whom she had separated from a few years ago. The interactions between Laurie and Mindy was quite hilarious. Brianna on the other hand, was an excellent villain because each of us has met someone like her before.
Rylie had been informed by her mother that the entire family was under a curse from a witch. Thus she is going to experience some challenges when it comes to finding love. At this point in the story, Rylie has managed to make matches, which have proven to be successful. However, there is one client who was not satisfied with her work and began stalking Cruz whenever she went. We find Riley Cruz trying so hard to balance her attraction for one Jack, her fear of being rejected and being stalked by an unknown person. With that said, How to Date a Werewolf is an exceedingly great novel that is not only fast-paced but will also ensure that you laugh from time to time. If you are a fan of paranormal mystery, then you are definitely going to love, How to Date a Werewolf.
