SC Stokes is a bestselling author of fantasy fiction works who has made a name for himself writing about daring arcanologists and snarky witches. The author has said that while many people love reading fantasy, he likes to read and live in fantasy worlds.

When he is not writing his next blockbuster novel, he can usually be found wearing his armor and LARPing like someone gone insane. He has always been interested in Live Action Role Play (LARP) games as he just likes fighting over real life battlefields and getting into armor and costume.

This is just the type of action packed and fantastic world that he also likes to write about in his novels. Stokes’ works usually immerse his readers in thrilling and novel fantasy worlds that include full-on conflict at a fast pace.

He wrote his debut novel “A Coronation of Kings” in 2015 and has never looked back since.

SC Stokes likes to immerse her readers into thrilling new fantasy worlds. Each one is full of conflict that often happens at a reasonable pace as Stokes usually draws from his experience living in Japan, the USA and Australia.

He also uses her experiences to offer a taste of familiarity as he plunges his readers into a titillating new world. For about a year after graduating from her A levels, she spent just about every day writing something. In that time, she managed to publish eght books on Amazon Kindle.

This is quite a remarkable feat as she had to both write and illustrate some of hEr works herself. There have been days when he spent nearly her entire waking hours trying to complete a single chapter. If not doing that, he has been found promoting his novels through a variety of ways.

Stokes does much of his writing in the family living room with the rest of the family doing whatever. Still, he does like quiet when he is writing and as such, he gets the most out of sessions with no distractions such as music or TV.

Halfway through writing the manuscript for her debut novel “A Coronation of Kings” is when SC Stokes made the decision that he would become a published author. Still, it is important to remember that he was very much unsure if this is the career that she wanted to pursue.

As he wrote his manuscript, he thought he could turn his passion into something that could be his bread and butter. Once he discovered the Amazon Kindle Publishing platform, many of his doubts melted away.

He published his debut in both paperback and eBook formats and was surprised when it went on to become a bestseller.

Stokes got interested in writing fantasy and horror because he has always found these genres highly intriguing to watch and read. According to the author, this has to do with the fact that they do not restrict the imagination and allow one to create anything they have in mind.

He also sometimes pens children’s fiction because at some point worked at the local nursery and understands how critical books are to children. As for his style, it usually varies wildly depending on the type and genre of book he is writing, given that he writes in so many genres and for a variety of audiences.

“Dying to Meet You” by SC Stokes asserts that death is a fellow dying to meet every living person and he usually does.

Most people would rather postpone that meeting and for Kasey who is rarely on time, this is something she intends to do. She is the city of New York Medical Examiner with the gift of prescience which is quite rare.

She had been born a witch and initially believed her gift was an affliction that made her see visions of the lives of people she touched. Once she became a medical examiner, everything changed and she embraced her curse. She now makes use of her powers to resolve the many murder mysteries in New York.

But then she notices that the bodies she has to take care of begin to look more and more like her, which is quite disturbing. She is convinced that she has to determine what the people on the slab have in common if she is not to end up dead herself.

It is an exciting debut full of action from the first page right to the last.

SC Stokes novel “Living is for the Living” is set in New York City, where murder takes on a different physiognomy each time. Still each variation is gunning to meet and kill humans.

Kasey is lucky that she was born a witch as she makes use of her gifts to resolve a range of crimes in New York City. When a violent robbery at the Met Gala turns into a massacre, Kasey is called upon to find the perpetrators and bring them to justice.

Working with the New York Police Division (NYPD), she makes an astonishing discovery. It turns out that one of the victims she was looking into had not died in an accident like the others.

Kasey now faces her most formidable foe and will need to call upon her years of experience and wits just to stay alive.

“When Murder Knocks” by SC Stokes is an interesting tale that starts with Kasey seing a vision of the brutal murder of a well known and popular businessman. Our favorite detective is once again called to ponder if the future is cast in stone or whether she can change it.

For the longest time, she has used her gift to resolve mysterius murders but now she has seen a vision of a man heading for a meeting with death and wants to save his life by solving the case.

It makes for a thrilling paranormal detective series packed with visions, action, murder and mystery that has to be solved by one hot little witch. Kasey shows the independent and sassy woman she has become over the years as she gets her hands full of action.
