The book is written round the character of Marion who is a simple and fun loving girl. She is on a mission to protect and save an ethereal species from being exterminated. Further she has committed on doing something which could help to improve her political future. However, what she has agreed is extremely painful and demanding and it certainly puts her in lot of trouble. In fact there are situations where her life could be at risk and jeopardy. She is betrayed by people whom she had trusted a lot including Konig. Will she be able to come out unscathed from the whole experience or will her life be sniffed out? The answers to this question revolve around the various turns, twist and uncertainties which she has to go through. On the whole there is no denying the fact that the books has been well scripted, well thought out and the pace is quite brisk and there is hardly any moment of sluggishness or monotony.
Once Darkness Falls
This book is about the character Reno NV who has been captured by the demons. This is because somebody taking care of the Office of Preternatural affairs have messed things up. Hence the responsibility of finding out who is at fault lies on Cesar Hawke who is the investigative agent. He not only needs to identify them but also needs to exterminate them. It is a gripping story to stay the least with many unexpected twists and turns.
