After that, Zoey is so shocked since she has morals and logic, which is why she followed the right process when dealing with Jake’s inappropriate advances.

However, when it comes to Carter, Zoey realizes she is dealing with a completely different person. She worries about not speaking up and having other girls go through the same thing. Knowing that Carter is a god in their town and will go unpunished, She decides it’s time to change her tactics. The odd part is that she is somehow interested in the ruthless psyche she saw in the empty classroom.

Zoey being a self-sacrificing soldier, decides to get his attention since she is sure she can handle something that the rest of the girls can. After making it through Carter’s first encounter, all Zoey want is for him to leave her alone, but it appears she is all he wants.
The writing style is excellent, and the characters are well crafted and developed. Carter and Zoey started in the worst way possible, but later their relationship improved in the book. It’s so admirable how Zoey stands her ground and fights back for herself

Untouchable is a dark, twisted fantastic story that will keep you on your toes. Carter was just a depraved, broken, and untouchable young man. Mariano’s work is flawless, and she draws readers in right from the beginning with the wicked encounter between the hero and heroine.

She turns awful events into an incredibly amazing book. Sam did a superb job capturing the anger, the fear, and the warring emotions during the traumatizing moments in the story. The characters are teenagers in their final year of high school, which explains their lack of making intelligent choices.

Accidental witness

The closest Mia ever wanted to be near Vince Morelli was, at most, a couple of rows away in the English class. They have never had the chance to talk, but Mia has heard a lot about his family.

She knows they are dangerous, which means Vince is also dangerous. Vince never notices Mia until one day; he sees her witness his first mob fight. Mia comes from a humble background living with her single mother and two younger siblings.

She tries taking her phone to record the incident; she realizes that of them is a guy from her school who was rumored to be a member of a cruel Chicago Crime family, Vince Morelli. Unlucky for her, she makes a noise, and one of them looks right in her direction.

As if things aren’t too bad for her, Vince sees her too, and Mia, afraid of her life, runs inside her house and drops her phone on the way. The next day, when Zoey goes out to look for her phone, she finds it gone.

Now Vince knows her home and the school she attends. His family doesn’t let any witnesses stay alive and deals with them fast enough before they can think of opening their mouths. What she saw wasn’t the kind of thing. His family could just let her walk alive. Zoey’s mistake is only being at the wrong place at the wrong time, and it’s about to take her life in a different direction.

However, Vince appears different from the rest and knows the best thing he can do for Zoey is to stay away. On the contrary, instead of staying away, something keeps drawing them together even when she knows the danger of being involved with him. The two get close in his attempts to keep her on edge.

Zoey can’t resist what she feels for him, but the problem is that Vince comes as a package, and you don’t get involved with him without getting in the middle of his family’s games. Everyone knows that it’s never easy to love a member of the Morelli family, but Zoey follows her heart. Now being part of the crime family, Will Zoey ever gain control over her life?

Sam Mariano’s writing style is easy to read, so you don’t have to strain in recalling some incidences. Accidental Witness is an engaging and twisted novel with surprise revelations that will keep the readers hooked.

Vince brings his youthful voice, resentful rawness, and bitterness towards his fate. He craves normalcy and having control over his life. Accidental Witness is a mafia romance novel that will consume the reader from the beginning and doesn’t slow down to the last page.
