Sara Rosett is one of the well known novelists from Texas, The United States, who likes to write most of her novels based on the mystery, thriller, and humor genres. She considers herself to be a native of Texas and is famous for writing a mystery series called ‘Ellie Avery Series’ and a suspense series called ‘On The Run’. Other than these two novel series, she is working on one more mystery series called ‘Murder On Location’. Author Sara says that she was influenced by the popular written works of authors like Elizabeth Peters, Mary Stewart, and Carolyn Hart, since a very long time. As a result, she had always dreamed of becoming an established novelist herself, which she eventually became successful in doing with the help of her hard work and dedication. Being the spouse of a military personnel, author Sara got the opportunity of traveling to a number of places throughout the country on a frequent basis. She has even gone on a few international tours, which helped her to work on the development of the plots of her suspense novels. Due to her excellent style of writing mystery and suspense, and developing intriguing plots in her novels, the Publishers Weekly has described the books written by her as ‘well executed’, ‘sparkling’, and ‘satisfying’.
The first book that author Sara wrote in the Ellie Avery series was published under the title ‘Moving Is Murder’. This book went on to become a huge success and was eventually nominated for the Reader’s Choice Award at the Library of Salt Lake County in the year 2007. The Society of Military Writers of America also awarded the novel with a Distinguished Honor Award. Apart from this, almost all the essay’s written by author Sara have appeared in one or the other literary magazines such as the Georgia Magazine, The Writer, Mystery Scene Magazine, as well as in the Chicken Soup For The Soul of The Military Wife. Along with writing novels, author Sara says that she loves to do all the bookish things in her life. Most importantly, she considers dark chocolate as her daily requirement and says that it helps her to think and imagine about exciting and intriguing plots.
Sara has developed her own website for the purpose of interacting with her fans and readers and for also informing them about the latest developments in her writing career and her upcoming releases. Author Sara also likes to interact with her fans on Twitter, Goodreads, Facebook, and Pinterest. Whenever she is not busy with her writing works, she is often found online reading the messages and suggestions of her readers and fans and replying to all those she could. Being one of the top rated authors, author Sara got the opportunity to become a member of popular writing clubs, known as The Deadly Divas and the Girlfriends Books Club. These clubs include several popular female authors who happen to write novels about murders. Just like the debut novel of the Ellie Avery series, the first book of the ‘On The Run’ series was also a big success in the writing career of author Sara. This book went on to feature on the bestseller lists of the literary magazines called Top Rated, Movers and Shakers, New Release, and Amazon.
The ‘On The Run’ series written by author Sara Rosett consists of a total of 5 books published between the years 2012 and 2015. The first book of this series was titled as ‘Elusive’. It was released by the CreateSpace publishing house in the year 2012. At the beginning of the plot of this book, it is shown that Zoe Hunter is a spontaneous and free spirited individual, who loves to spend her life living on its edges. All her life, she has worked for a number of freelance works which have helped her to earn her living and keep her bank account running with just enough money. But soon, her life turns into a nightmare suddenly when her ex-boyfriend named Jack commits a fraud of millions of dollars and goes missing. The FBI comes to know about the former relationship of Zoe Hunter with Jack and takes her into custody with the intention of gaining some information from her about Jack. Due to this sudden change in her life, Zoe begins to think that her life has turned into downright frightening from what was previously used to be delightfully unpredictable. As she finds she plunged into the world of deception, murder, and fake identities, she finds it difficult to trust anyone. After a short while, Zoe leaves town and sets herself in search of answers. Eventually, she is taken to Italy from Las Vegas, however, instead of getting answers she ends up uncovering more and more questions every time. Soon, Zoe begins to wonder whether Jack is still alive or he has faked his disappearance. She also wonders if he was indulging in the mafia, art theft, espionage, or a combination of all the three. In the end, the proves to be a mixture of light romance, mystery, and international travel.
The second novel of the ‘On The Run’ series written by author Sara Rosett was published under the title ‘Secretive’. It was released by the Smashwords publishers in the year 2013. The plot of this book continues to depict Zoe Hunter as the main character. Once again it is shown that Zoe lived an unconventional and free spirited life. When she found that she could take the normal 9 to 5 job anymore, she decided to move out of her cubicle. As a result, she indulged herself into a number of freelance works like copy editing, dog walking, property management, etc. She used to love all the surprises that she used to get in her life, except the mysterious FBI visits and the engagement with the thugs while jogging. Being fed up with the numerous interference in her life from the FBI and the thugs, she decides to skip town. Her vow of finding the missing links of her life brings her to London. She hopes that she will find her ex-boyfriend Jack over there. In spite of being told by the authorities that Jack is dead, Zoe does not believe them. In addition to all the problems in her life and the unanswered questions, a tenet keeps popping every now and then into her life, which makes her even more stressed. In the end, Zoe Hunter thinks that she will have to make use of her eccentric skills in order to find the answers to her question along with dodging the deadly thugs who intend to make her trip to London her last.
