Author Savannah Scott loves writing happily ever after romantic comedies with scenes where kisses make you melt. Her characters feel like these long lost friends, and the settings make you want to go off on a road trip in order to visit. You will laugh, and you will smile. Yep. And you will need some coffee since you stayed up well past your bedtime reading.

If you are unable to find Savannah, she is probably hiding somewhere with a book, dancing Zumba, or going just a little crazy being the fun carpool mother that cranks the tunes and always heads through the drive-thru for copious amounts of fat and sugar on the way home from school.

She also writes as Patty H Scott, which is the Clark Kent to her Superman. For readers that like clean romance, check Patty’s books out.

“Friendshipped” is the first novel in the “Getting Shipped” series and was released in 2021. Can ya keep a secret? Lexi is in love with Trevor, her best friend.

There are some things you should know about Lexi. Her ideal Friday night includes “The Princess Bride”, pizza, and dancing with abandon. She hates running, and only runs when somebody’s chasing her, and thankfully that’s never happened. And, she is madly in love with her best friend. That’s her secret.

She and Trevor grew up next door to each other. So yeah, he is the boy next door. Even now, they rent opposite ends of a duplex, and they work across the aisle from each other at the Corn Corners Tribune. So basically, there is not a part of her life that Trevor has not touched. Well, no. Lexi. He has not touched her.

Trevor made it clear that they are in the friend zone and whatever feelings that he had for her were just some passing thing for him, even though hers keep growing like a Chia pet on a humid summer day in the midwest. Unruly, and seemingly pointless.

Now, she is resigned to get Trevor out of her system permanently. If Trevor would just see her as more than just a friend. However unless he shows her otherwise, she will have to do what it takes to just move on.

Savannah delivers a sweet book with some lovable characters. Readers enjoyed getting to know not just the lead characters, but the side characters too. There’s such a sweet romance in this that has fans interested in checking out the next book in the series.

“Battleshipped” is the second novel in the “Getting Shipped” series and was released in 2022. Laura is not in love with Rob, her ex-boyfriend. Ever read those stories where high school sweethearts reunite to find their happily ever after bliss together? That’s not going to be her.

Sure, Rob has got the smolder down to a science, which makes sense, because to him, everything’s science. He is a famous YouTuber, and makes a living using that beautiful brain of his. The guy is destined for greatness, which means that he will leave, again. This time around, Laura is not falling for him.

The battle is on. Rob believes that he will win Laura back, however she is fighting him with everything that she’s got. Her heart is locked up tight, behind this obstacle course with every booby trap imaginable. Wouldn’t you know it? Rob happens to be an expert at finding his way around obstacles and locks. Just her luck.

Rob and Laura have such fantastic chemistry with each other in this tender and sweet love story, which melted some readers’ hearts. This one will make you laugh and forget the world around you for a little while.

“Townshipped” is the third novel in the “Getting Shipped” series and was released in 2022. Everybody said that it was not as though some woman would land on Aiden’s doorstep and fall in love with him. Never say never.

Now, Mallory literally comes crashing into his life, however she doesn’t remember a thing about what happened to her before she got to him. She is a little sassy and beautiful. The longer that she is here, the more that it feels like this woman is the missing piece of a puzzle that he did not even know that he was attempting to solve.

Their small town has got her pegged as his imported bride, and his mom’s already sharing family recipes with her, and Aiden’s best friend will not stop taunting him about the way that he looks at her.

For once in his life, he is able to picture a future with somebody, with Mallory fate appears to have brought him from out of nowhere. Funny thing about fate is things never go exactly as you had planned.

“Are We There Yet?” is the first novel in the “Love Trippin’” series and was released in 2023. A vintage VW van. Four buddies. A cross country road trip. It’ll be the best adventure of Riley’s life, if she could just shake the feelings that she has for Cameron.

Cameron Reeves is just as gorgeous as his name makes him sound. He is about six feet tall, which is the exact height that she always wrote down in her ideal man list in her journal. Yeah, she has this list of qualities that she wants in a man. And Cameron ticks every single one of those boxes, except for two. That is, unless you count the fact that she’s a fixture in his life. Cameron probably gives her just as much though as he gives his sofa. It is there, always has been. Old, comfortable, and reliable sofa.

Riley will get over Cameron eventually. Don’t we all get over the rush and hum of our first crush. If anything, six or seven days cooped up in a van together on a trip across the country should murder any infatuation she has and murder it good. They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder, so maybe forced proximity works the opposite way. Girl can hope, anyway.
