Shari Hearn is a published author that likes to write cozy mystery stories.

The author first wrote a story when she was four years old. It may have involved some lines that squiggled everywhere, a door and a stick figure, with just two words that she knew how to write at the time emblazoned over it all: “THE END”. She gradually found out how to spell some more words.

Shari decided that she wanted to live in Los Angeles and write, so she relocated there. In Los Angeles, Shari would work on different sitcoms as a writer in addition to a producer and has written several screenplays as well as pilots for television. These days Shari is now working on writing mysteries and more in the novel world and focusing on penning some great stories for readers to enjoy.

She has written several novellas and short stories that are set in her fictional Miss Fortune World. The world now includes over a dozen books for readers to enjoy. The series is actually licensed fan fiction inspired by the Miss Fortune Mysteries composed by author Jana DeLeon. Hearn was inspired so much by this series that she obtained permission to write her own stories inspired by DeLeon’s work!

Shari Hearn is not the creator of the Miss Fortune mystery idea or series, but she is the author of the Miss Fortune World series. The series is licensed fan fiction based on Jana DeLeon’s Miss Fortune Mysteries and expands upon this original world and theme for some brand-new series that readers will be sure to enjoy! Shari Hearn developed the Miss Fortune World series further with the addition of her Miss Fortune World: Sinful Spirits series. This series debuted in 2017 with the publication of the debut book, Happy Birthday Marge. It was first published as part of the program Miss Fortune Kindle Worlds, which would end in July 2018.
