Sheri S. Tepper is one of the most prolific authors of America, who has written many successful novels based on the science fiction, fantasy, mystery, horror, and thriller genres. Because of her excellent contribution to the English Literature and her efforts in the upliftment of the status of women in the society through her written works, Tepper is famously known as a feminist writer of science fiction novels, mostly with an ecofeminist slant. She was born on July 16, 1929 in Littleton, Colorado, United States. For most of the part of her career, author Tepper worked for the Rocky Mountain Parenthood as she was born near Littleton, Colorado. She eventually went on to become the Executive Director of the company. As far as her personal life is concerned, Sheri Tepper is married to Gene Tepper and they have two children. Apart from writing the plots of her future novels or developing the characters, Tepper looks after her guest ranch located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She has used a number of pen names for writing her successful novels in different genres. Some of them include E.E. Horlak, B.J. Oliphant, A.J. Orde, etc. Other than these, Tepper used the name Sheri S. Eberhart for writing and publishing her earlier works. She says that her first marriage took place when she was just 20 years old and was divorced in her late 20s. After that, she had to spend a period of 10 years all alone and by herself. During that time, she had to work different types of jobs, being a single mother of 2 children. Tepper also started writing several children’s stories and poetry alongside her daily jobs. After years of hard work, she was able to lead a successful life and establish herself as a popular author of different genres of novels.
Eventually, she went on to marry for the second time in her life during the late 1960s. Luckily for her, Gene Tepper proved to be a better husband, who loved her and supported her throughout her life and also helped her to maintain her balance between the personal and professional life. Tepper started working for the Rocky Mountain Parenthood company in the year 1962 as just a small writer and went on to retire in the year 1986 after becoming the Executive Director. Author Sheri S. Tepper received the World Fantasy Award as the Live Achievement in the year 2015. Currently, she enjoys her old age life and lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico along with her husband of 50 years, and has become a great grandmother. She particularly likes the warmer climate of Santa Fe as it suits well for her arthritic bones. Author Tepper still continues to write for he publishing houses and has just finished writing the sequels of three of her previous successful novels. In one of her interviews, author Tepper has said that she does not feel apologetic to the label ‘ecofeminist’. In fact, she considers herself a proud author of over 40 novels, in most of which she has tried to create complex and well rounded characters by blending them in fantasy, science fiction, feminist fable, and ecological alarum genres. She is basically the type of author who writes about what she cares for deeply and hopes to awaken the thinking of the readers to face the hard realities of the history and the present time. Tepper even argues about the use of the planet Earth by the humans and other creatures, and emphasizes on the judicious use of the resources available on Earth, if they intend on surviving for long.

Thank you for this. Just starting on Ms. Tepper, and she’s so prolific I’d get lost facing an overwhelming pile of titles without the clear and comprehensive help of this list.
I love the Sheri S. Tepper books that I have read and now I know of more titles.
