Stacey Cochran is the author of the best selling Kindle novella in 2011, In Love With Eleanor Rigby. He’s a finalist for several awards for his work in fiction, and earned his Master’s degree in 2001 for Create Writing in East Carolina University. He was born and raised in the Carolinas, along with the rest of his family who have been living there since the mid 1700s. In 1998, he became the finalist for the 1998 Dell Magazines Award for Undergraduate Fiction. In 2001, his work In Love With Eleanor Rigby was the Rebel Literary Magazine First Prize Winner. It will soon be his very first published book and will soon be a bestselling novella. In 2004, his work Culpepper was a finalist for the St. Martin’s Press/PWA Best Fist Private Eye Novel Contest. And in 2011, an excerpt from his novel Eddie and Sunny was a finalist for the James Hurst Prize for Fiction. In Love with Eleanor Rigby, one of his most famous works, was published in 2011 in CutBank.
It was a bestselling novella in 2011, containing only 38 pages of contemporary romance. Like most of his books, the story was set in the south, where Stacey was born and raised. It’s a story about a man, named Joe, who has a dark past and a woman, Tabitha, who fell in love with him. Joe was a carpenter and Tabitha was a milliner. They both fell in love with each other but they cannot fully be happy because Joe is hiding secrets from Tabitha. Not only that he was attending AA meetings, a group for the alcoholics to help stay sober and achieve sobriety, but he’s keeping something that may change their relationship and he doesn’t want Tabitha to know that. But eventually she will and they will have a rough time adjusting but will work their relationship out. A contemporary romance set in the urban, the novella is a romance with a little bit of comedy. It became a bestseller for it’s funny punchlines, and romantic storyline. The Colorado Sequence, another one of his work was published in May 2007 through self publishing by Lulu. Although it’s genre is Science Fiction, Fiction and Adventure, it was said to be perfect for Speculative fiction readers and thriller fans. The story was a mix of science fiction and suspense. It was about Dr. Amy Levine, a physicist, who discovered a possible breakthrough in Science. A mathematical sequence, called the Colorado sequence which is able to predict the future by it’s pattern and a guiding force for the fabric of reality. Dr. Levine was able to accurately predict the future, and because of this, making unwanted enemies that wants her dead for the power and skill of predicting the future. She and other friends set out to study and find out more about the mystery of the sequence, the Colorado sequence. They needed to find a hidden room, a hidden key, and answer a riddle, but they faced different challenges on their adventures including being snowbound. But they must hurry because if they do not make it in time they might be destroyed and forever lose the power of the Colorado sequence.
Another one of his famous works is The Loneliest, a suspense, thriller, and paranormal romance book published in September 2011 using Amazon’s Createspace. It was mostly about the creative process of a delusional novelist on his way to picking up himself. It was about a lonely novelist, Jason Roberts who was under pressure to finish his novel. He found a cabin far away in the North Carolina’s Appalachian Mountains and there he decided to finish his novel whilst getting over the lost of his wife, who died too young and too early, only a year ago. Jason hasn’t completely moved on from his loss, and with his grief and pressure getting into him, he started seeing things. First it was just some things in the wood but later he realized he can bring to life the characters on his book. He became wildly delusional, seeing his book in his eyes. On the verge of illusion and reality, he brings back to life through his imaginations, his wife, and he was visited by her beautiful presence. He realized his power to bring her back with him in the reality. At once, he was tempted to go with her and finish his own life and leave his messy and lonely life. Also one of his famous works, Claws, was published in 2009 through Createspace. It was under Mystery, Thriller, Fiction and Horror.
Claws is about the adventure of a wildlife biologist, Dr. Angie Rippard. A public investigation about two teenagers killed in a golf course piqued her interest as she may know the cause of death. Rippard thinks its the large mountain lions in the wild and in the search for the peace of the cougars with her grad students, she made enemies that might kill them. Dr. Rippard thinks the cougars should be relocated but the owner of the relocation place hated the idea and thinks the animals should be killed. They only realized too late that the owner was hunting them and in the end, she needed to make a decision if she should kill the cougars who might kill the man or kill the enemies instead who might kill them.Stacey Cochran also published a sequence to this, Claws 2, which was a continuation of Dr. Rippard’s adventure.

She ended up knowing much more than she should and some political forces hating it, and promising to never let her show her research to anyone, even to the point of death. He happily lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife Susan, his son Sam amd his daughter Harper Jane. He also teaches writing at North Carolina State University. The opportunity to work for the interview TV show gave Stacey a chance to meet the prominent authors and occasional literary scholars. He got the opportunity to personally meet a number of New York Times and USA Today bestselling authors. This gave an important boost to his writing career as he received a lot of motivation by having talks with the prominent authors related to the art of professional writing. As of today, Stacey serves as a chair of the Bouchercon 2015, which is the World Mystery Convention to be held in the month of October 2015 in Raleigh.

The series deals with the suspenseful life events of the central character named Dr. Angie Rippard. The first novel of the series was titled ‘Claws’. It was published in the year 2009 by the CreateSpace publishing house. The plot of the novel is set in Arizona. The novel introduces Dr. Angie Rippard as a wildlife biologist who often gets drawn into police investigations because of her investigative nature.
In the opening sequence of the plot of the novel, Dr. Angie Rippard finds the dead bodies of two teenagers lying on a golf course of a resort situated at the border of the National Forest Land. The National Forest is a protected place on account of being a national heritage and also to safeguard the diminishing wildlife from the forest. Being a wildlife biologist, Dr. Angie Rippard suggests that the teenagers were attacked and killed by a big mountain lion. Dr. Rippard also believes that the resort was built too close to the forest land and as a result, she tries to relocate the cougars in the area near the forest land. This action of Dr. Angie Rippard provokes the owner of the resort, Charlie Rutledge. He becomes furious at Dr. Rippard for suggesting the idea of relocation.
Charlie is of the opinion that the animals in the forest should be exterminated in order to safeguard the human life near the forest land. Soon, Dr. Rippard and her graduate students come to know that Charlie Rutledge has been secretly hunting the animals in the deep areas of the Tonto National Forest. The plot of the novel takes an interesting and intriguing turn in the climax when Dr. Rippard is in the dilemma of making a choice to kill either the cougar who is trying to kill Charlie Rutledge or kill Charlie who is desperately trying to kill her. The thrilling climax turns into an interesting battle between Dr. Angie Rippard and Charlie Rutledge. Dr. Rippard is determined to stop the killings of the endangered species of animals in the forests of Arizona. She strives to safeguard them from becoming extinct.

The second novel continues to deal with the life of the main character Dr. Angie Rippard, just like the first novel. The plot of the novel is set in the Colorado region of the United States. The plot of the novel starts with the introduction of Dr. Angie Rippard, who is depicted as being bankrupt and battling the down side of her luck. Being a wildlife biologist, she agrees to go on a lengthy assignment given by the governor of Colorado. She is ordered to find out for the last time, whether the grizzly bears have become completely extinct in the southwest corner of the Colorado state or not.
Although a grizzly bear has not been seen by anyone since 1979 in the north of the Durango region, the governor wants to make it sure that the grizzly bears have indeed become extinct. If he finds any proof of the existence of the grizzly bears, he will halt the project of the development of the 6,000 acre ski resort in the region, which seems to affect the natural resources of the Colorado state. Dr. Angie Rippard finds some important proofs about the existence of grizzly bears in the forests of Colorado. Her research work seems to be disrupting the construction work of the ski resort and stopping the construction of the 500 million dollar project permanently. However, her research work pits her against the highly powerful political forces of the region who will stop at nothing to stop her from recording her research data.
Dr. Angie Rippard faces the danger of getting killed by the political forces by getting hunted to death in the snowstorm of the mountains near the Telluride region. The novel proved to be a great thriller and showcased the strength of author Stacey Cochran in writing vivid and nail-biting scenes in his novels. His characterization of Dr. Angie Rippard was also liked by the readers very much. The critics and fellow authors appreciated the excellent work of Stacey in trying to portray the fierce and frightening nature of the animals of the forest in the novel. The fine writing style of Stacey drew more and more readers towards the novel, which added to its success and motivated him to write more thrilling novels in his career.
