This would develop over time as he would refine and hone his skills, building upon his voice as a writer, allowing him to find his niche.

Attending Oregon State University, he would also later graduate from the University of Oregon with a Masters Degree. This would help build the foundation of his writing career that was to follow, as he’d go on to work in both film and writing. Currently still writing to this very day, he continues to put out work regularly, with a lot more set to follow in the future.

Writing Career
Starting out as a cartoonist Moore would rise to fame in the national newspapers, making his name with his famously syndicated comic-strip ‘In The Bleachers.’ Formerly working as a news executive himself too, many of his cartoons would be a regular fixture in papers such as The Los Angeles Times. This would see him producing various different collections of his work, beginning with ‘Born in the Bleachers: Sports Cartoons’ in 1989.

Later he’d also begin the ‘King of the Bench’ series of novels, beginning with ‘No Fear!’ in 2017, which would be a collection of comics for younger readers. He’d then follow this up with ‘Control Freak’ that same year, along with ‘Kicking and Screaming’ in 2018, and then ‘Comeback Kid’ a few months later. Winning awards and nominations for his work, he continues to build upon his name and brand as a writer with something to say.

Kicking and Screaming

This time it’s basketball season, and it’s time for self-proclaimed king of the bench Steve to take up the sport and give it a go. Joining the Mighty Plumbers basketball team with his friends Carlos and Joey, along with super athlete Becky O’Callahan, they intend to play the court together. Sitting on the sidelines as usual, though, Steve has a trick up his sleeve that could potentially turn the whole game around in their favor. Will he be able to come through? Can he win the game and save the day? What will become of the Comeback Kid?
