Steven James is a matured author born in 1969 in Wisconsin, he later on moved to Tennessee. He earned his Master of Arts in Storytelling from the East Tennessee State University in 1997.
He lives in the mesmerizing foothills of the Smoky Mountains of the eastern Tennessee. He lives with his wife and three daughters and has a very close knit family.

The killer is cunning and lethal psychopath who is always one step ahead of the law. Patrick has a severe challenge to stop this killer before he strikes again and takes another innocent life.
The killer calls himself ‘Illusionist’ and it will take all the mental abilities and instincts of Patrick to understand him and stop him before he kills some more innocent civilians.

Blur is the first book of the Blur trilogy released in 2014, one of the best books ever written in the suspense genre and beating all the books authored by Steven, the book is a marvel to read.
The story is set in an isolated town of Wisconsin, Beldon. The whole town is shocked when the body of a high school freshman is found in the lake Algonquin. Just like everyone else in the town her sixteen year old friend Daniel Byers believes that she died of an accident.
The story takes an amazing turn when she appears and speaks to him at her funeral. Her visions rip him apart and is terrified at the beginning.
He is later on convinced that the visions and disappearance have a correlation and she is trying to tell him about the mysterious circumstances of her death.
When Daniel looks into her death he finds out that there are several unanswered mysteries around the death.He is so influenced by the situation that he starts seeing visions in the broad daylight and is unable to distinguish between reality and the visions.
In such a challenging situation, Daniel tries to uncover the mysteries of his friend’s death.
