Sue Roberts
Author Sue Roberts was born in Liverpool and moved to Lancashire when she was a teen and has lived there ever since.

When she isn’t busy writing she spends time with her always growing family. Sue enjoys cinema, walking, and traveling.

“My Big Greek Summer” was inspired by her frequent visits to the Island of Rhodes down in Greece.

Sue’s debut novel, called “My Big Greek Summer”, was released in the year 2018. Her work is from the romance genre.

“My Big Greek Summer” is the first stand alone novel and was released in the year 2018. A vacation can solve everything, right? A funny, hot new summer escape about kissing your past goodbye and learning how to love again. Mandy, a carefree thirty-something believed she would be married to her first love Danny forever. So when she learns that her heart-throb hubby has had a fling, she realizes that it is time to make some major changes. However what is she going to do now that she’s single for the very first time in her entire adult life?

Mandy, who is determined to find that spark once again, hops onboard a plane, ready for a second chance at happiness and some adventure. Escaping to a sun-drenched Greek island, golden beaches, the glittering blue ocean, and delicious cocktails are precisely what she needs.

Over a spontaneous summer, she has the absolute time of her life as she makes some new friends in a pretty little Mediterranean village by the ocean. And she also finds she is unexpectedly falling for a dark, tall, and handsome stranger. However she quickly realizes even paradise has some problems. Can a holiday romance truly heal her broken heart? Or is somebody in Mandy’s old life going to call her back home once more?

“My Very Italian Holiday” is the second stand alone novel and was released in the year 2018. Gina, age thirty, after losing the love of her life in a tragic accident, is struggling. Running her small guesthouse in the hills of the Lake District keeps her going, however her heart is no longer in it at this point. When Fabio Garcia, a new guest, shows up, she feels a spark that reminds her she is still alive. He is dark and tall but with startling blue eyes, and makes her laugh for the very first time in a long time. Guilt holds her back, however friends, along with a glass or three of win, push her right into the man’s arms.

It is nothing too serious, which is something, Gina realize, is precisely what she needs. So when he invites her to come to his family’s crumbling Italian villa, which is located on the sparkling waters of Lake Como, she says yes. It is tough not to fall for the grand, sandstone Villa Lucia, with its green shutters, faded wallpaper, and Fabio who serves fresh coffee in bed. However she knows right where she belongs, and she isn’t only ready to explore the hidden depths that she finds in this handsome Italian.

Right when she believes she’ll change her mind, her sister reveals to her a secret which sends her packing. It is a relief, too. Because she ends up being right not to open up her heart to Fabio, and walk away from him, the moonlit lake, and the villa. Right?

“My Summer of Love and Limoncello” is the third stand alone novel and was released in the year 2019. Three best friends, a handsome stranger, and Italian sunshine can fix almost anything, right? Maisie Knight had it all: a successful business. A beautiful husband. A gorgeous home. Until she walks into the storeroom of their shop, and loses all of it at once when she catches her husband cheating on her with a girl from checkout 3. when she wins a vacation to Italy, one week under the Tuscan sun just can’t come quickly enough.

She treats her best friends Emma and Cheryl to a girls’ trip, and the terracotta-roofed Villa Marisa on a rustic farm waits for them. The fields of golden sunflowers might be a perfect cure for Maisie’s broken heart. And a local farmer, the suspiciously perfect Gianni, with his twinkling brown eyes and thick black hair, makes for a welcome distraction from her own problems.

Mornings waking to freshly brewed coffee and views of the rolling hills, feasts of Prosecco and pasta and the moped rides with cheeky Italians help her forget about her own issues. After all of her heartache, she is surprised when she begins opening up to Gianni, and is even more surprised when the temperature rises and it isn’t just the rays of Italian sunshine.

She could really get used to the good life. However right when she is getting her spark back, disaster strikes. And the next thing she knows, her past starts to catch up with her, reopening up old wounds, and Maisie has got a life-altering choice to make. Should she say ciao to her summer of limoncello and love?

“A Very French Affair” is the fourth stand alone novel and was released in the year 2019. From Southport on to the South of France, this is sure to be a summer to remember! Life just got much more complex for Liv, a 38 year old single mom. Jake, her son, is practically perfect in just about every way, however he has begun asking some tough questions, and the answers lie in a holiday romance from two decades ago. Back when she was staying with an aunt out on the french Riviera.

Coming back to the Cote d’Azur, with its exquisite cheese and wine, its white sand beaches, and her supportive aunt is tougher than it seems. Because, if she is going to give to Jake the answers he’s asking for, she knows she’ll have to track down Andre, her first love. Since she is a professional baker rather than a professional investigator, she has no clue where to even begin.

At first, finding the one that got away ends up being trickier than she imagined. And if she’s successful, how’s he going to take the bombshell secret she’s been keeping? Liv must do the best thing for her family, however does this mean shutting the door on this incredibly French affair?
