Author Susan Griscom writes contemporary and paranormal romance—and sexy and steamy are typically the way they turn out. She is a huge fan of superheroes and bad boys that are confronted with extraordinary forces of nature, powers, and abilities beyond the norm that are mixed with blow-your-socks-off, hot romance.

When Susan’s not busy writing, she enjoys hanging out with her family and friends dancing and drinking wine, kayaking, paddle boarding, and throwing a green ball for a smart border collie. Fortunately, there are several local wineries nearby and she visits them as often as she can.

“Ignite the Flame” is the first novel in the “Sectorium” series and was released in 2011. Addison MacKenna’s dad tragically dies, which brings her back to her the town of her birth, but she’s unable to comprehend the odd sensations which have started consuming her. Plagued with nightmares about her dad’s brutal death, she struggles with her anguish and refuses to even believe that his demise was an accident. However that’s not the only thing that she’s struggling with.

Caught up in the horrors of her recent nightmare as she drives to work, she gets startled beyond comprehension after she comes close to almost running a man down that’s standing right in the middle of the road. He’s a stunning guy that she can’t take her eyes or her mind off of. Suddenly, the impossible seems possible, and it’s not clear whether that’s a curse or a blessing.
