Pepper Dunn learns that she is a witch and gets whisked off to Magnolia Cove, Alabama, a magical place. Here, Pepper learns to to wield her magic, finds love, and meets a family that she never knew she had.

“Southern Magic” is the first novel in the “Sweet Tea Witches” series and was released in the year 2018. It just takes a second for life to go to hell-in-a-hand-basket. Pepper Dunn, in under twenty-four hours, loses her home, her job, and her boyfriend. It is the worst day of her life. However when she learns that she is a witch and has inherited the most important store in the magical town of Magnolia Cove, Alabama, she is just as happy as a pig in mud.

Too bad the shop is a familiar pet shop and Pepper isn’t too fond of animals, not even a little. Determined to just sell the store and get out of Dodge, her plans go screwy when the local store owner ends up dead and Pepper gets accused of the murder. Pepper, now thrown into this magical mystery, teams up with one mysterious private detective and a cat that’s so traumatized by the killing she’s not talking, and the cat might hold the key to Pepper’s innocence.

Now Pepper has to avoid trouble, solve the mystery, and placate her grandma, who maintains a strict ten PM curfew which is enforced by the business end of her shotgun. Sounds like just a simple day in the life, yeah, right. Can she solve this murder or is she going to be the next victim of the Magnolia Cove murderer? And most importantly, is Pepper going to learn to love the animals that she has been put in charge of?

This is a hilarious paranormal mystery, the story keeps you guessing as to what will happen next, and the characters are humorous. You will end up wanting to move to Magnolia Cove and be surrounded by these people and all the fun.

“Southern Spells” is the second novel in the “Sweet Tea Witches” series and was released in the year 2018. Even the best laid plans of egg-laying chickens is liable to go awry.

All Pepper wants is to live a quiet life in Magnolia Cove. However when the Cotton and Cobweb Festival arrives, her dreams go up in smoke. Grandmother Betty, this year, is determined to win the award for best magical creature opposite the contest matron, Melbalean Mayes. Betty needs help from Pepper if she is to win.

Melbalean ends up dead and Betty’s accused of the murder, Pepper gets thrown into a role she never expected: she has to complete the set of chores which keeps the town going. Pepper’s got her hands full as she must ensure the safety of her town, make sure nobody ends up a victim of the Magnolia Cove murderer, and try and clear Betty’s good name. Can she? Or is she going to be the next victim?

This novel has a creative storyline and the settings are described in a vivid way that makes it feel like you are truly there.

“Southern Myths” is the third novel in the “Sweet Tea Witches” series and was released in the year 2018. Right when Pepper begins to accept her ability to communicate with animals she gets thrown for a loop, as an egg holding a baby dragon arrives on her doorstep. Certain that this creature is going to grow up and become a destructive force of nature, she gives the creature to the first person that’s interested in buying it. His name is Mysterio, who is a traveling magician and claims he is able to communicate with the dead.

Relieved to be free of the dragon, her world gets turned upside down when Mysterio reveals that he’s got a message for Pepper. From her dead mom. Pepper cannot wait to learn what it is. However before she has the chance to learn what it is, Mysterio gets murdered.

Left with just a set of clues, she is determined to learn the information that her mom wanted her to know. However is untangling the mess of clues going to lead her down the right path, or is it going to lead her right into the killer’s hands?

“Southern Sorcery” is the fourth novel in the “Sweet Tea Witches” series and was released in the year 2018. Pepper just cannot catch a break at the moment. Right when life begins settling down in Magnolia Cove, Rufus Mayes, the sorcerer, shows up and is hellbent on taking Pepper’s powers all for himself.

Rufus casts a spell that links his magic to hers, she is determined to break the connection at all cost. Fortunately, she does not have to search too far for assistance. When this one aging wizard agrees to help her out, victory is in hand.

However the wizard ends up dead, and all hope is gone. Is Pepper going to figure a way to break this spell cast against her, or is she going to stay bound to Rufus forever?

“Southern Curses” is the fifth novel in the “Sweet Tea Witches” series and was released in the year 2018. The dead should remain dead, unless they were actually alive to start with.

Life for Pepper Dunn has just started to slow down in the magical city of Magnolia Cove, when Uncle Donovan, previously thought to be dead, shows up on her doorstep alive. He faked his death, it turns out, so he could avoid the werewolf mafia, a dangerous group that will stop at absolutely nothing to get their hands on him.

However when there’s a hit on Donovan that goes wrong and somebody else gets murdered, too, it is all up to Pepper and Axel, her boyfriend, to track down the killer before the killer strikes again. Can she do it? Or is Pepper going to be the next in line to go face to face with a killer?
