T. A. White
T. A. White’s first love is writing. Even before she was able to read or put coherent sentences down on the page, she would beg the older kids to work with her for the purpose of making up ghost stories in order to share them with their buddies.

Her first writing partnership came to a rather tragic conclusion when her co-author chose to quit just one day later and TA tossed cookies at her head. It lead to T. A.’s conclusion that it is better to write by herself. Today, she still writes solo, telling stories that would otherwise keep her up late nights.

Most of her days (and nights) are spent feeding her tea addiction as she defends the computer keyboard from Odin and Loki, her cat companions.

She writes the “Aileen Travers” series, the “Firebird Chronicles”, the “Broken Lands” series, and the “Dragon Ridden Chronicles”. Her work is from the science fiction, fantasy, and paranormal romance genres.

“Dragon-Ridden” is the first novel in the “Dragon-Ridden Chronicles” series and was released in the year 2012. One sinister tattoo. An uncertain past. A woman whose origins are steeped in mystery.

For Tate, unknown last name, everything that happened before being discovered by pirates on a remote piece of land is a blank. Her one clue to the person she once was is the dragon tattoo that is capable of moving all by itself.

Tate, who was brought to the city of Aurelia, is forced to abandon the very few people that she actually knows to make her way by herself. A momentary impulse makes her intervene in one situation that she doesn’t understand, and she is going to discover that some reckless actions have their unintended consequences.

All alone and with no friends, Tate is going to be rather light on her feet should she want to survive in a city where nobody is what they appear to be. Monsters walk the maze under Aurelia’s streets, and it is there where Tate is going to locate the largest clue to her past. Unlocking her hidden memories could be the one thing that is keeping her alive long enough to keep the coming war from happening.

Fans found this to be an imaginative, well-written, and entertaining novel with non-stop action and absorbing writing. Each of these characters work off of real motivations and the dialogue is a great mix of desperation, humor, resignation, and strong emotions.

“Shadow’s Messenger” is the first novel in the “Aileen Travers” series and was released in the year 2016. Aileen’s old life ended when she woke up in a morgue sporting a brand new set of fangs after spending a wild night out. She is now one of the couriers for the supernatural world, she now has to balance making enough money to support her own ice cream habit and figuring out this vampire thing.

A job goes horribly wrong and ends with a body lying on the ground, Aileen discovers herself in way over her head while drawing the attention of a powerful creature that is intent on seeing her die.

Aileen has to separate her enemies from her allies before it becomes too late. In order to survive, she is going to work with somebody that she swore she would avoid at all costs. One powerful vampire that might hold the key to her survival. Or the very flame that makes her world burn.

Readers found this to be a compelling and fun read that made readers want to check out more of. Aileen is one tough lady, who works well off the cuff; she is savvy, smart, and able to wriggle out of some of the most desperate of situations.

“Midnight’s Emissary” is the second novel in the “Aileen Travers” series and was released in the year 2017. Aileen has got a few rules for herself. Just do her job and get home safely. Stay off the vampire’s radar. Keep the whole supernatural world away from her human family. Above all, stay far away from spook politics.

Liam comes back to town bringing with him a mystery that puts the life she has put together in jeopardy, she discovers all her rules flying out of the window while sinking deeper into the supernatural world.

Ultimately, it might be the people that she loves the very most that pay the price in the high risk game that vampires refer to as life.

Readers enjoyed this book, finding the characters to be magnificent and there is an abundance of action. Aileen is quite the breath of fresh air, as she makes well thought out and brilliant decisions. She even has a snarky attitude all her own. The plot here is fantastic with some fascinating twists to it.

“Moonlight’s Ambassador” is the third novel in the “Aileen Travers” series and was released in the year 2018. Aileen has always been sure of a couple of things. Black raspberry is the one ice cream flavor that truly matters, her loyalty, once she gives it, is unquestionable, and vampires are untrustworthy. A late-night visitor shows up at her door needing some help, and she agrees with zero hesitation.

It isn’t very long before there is a pounding on her door that reminds her nothing is ever as straightforward as it appears to be. With her friend missing, Aileen realizes that her one simple favor leads to some consequences she is unable to avoid while finding herself drawn even more into a world she has tried everything to escape from.

As loyalties become tested, she is going to have to figure out just how far she is willing to go in the name of friendship. Bodies are falling and the trail heads right back to one that she holds dear. Is she going to stand fast to what she believes or is she going to be forced to betray another?

One thing is crystal clear. Her decision could lead either to her salvation or to her doom.

Each one of these books is well written with a well detailed and cohesive storyline.

Hoping “The Broken Lands” isn’t finished. Would love to see Darius find his Shea . Maybe a cousin in a hidden mountain valley with dark shiny silky hair skin the color of Carmel and hazel eyes but a lot better at disguise and voice that her cousin . Plus more magic in her blood , better fighter with swords and a body and beauty only The Ancient gods of Africa and Greece could bless.
