Author T. S. Paul (the S stands for Scott, while the T is an unknown initial) was born in the year 1968 in Mineral Wells, Texas. He and his wife lived just outside of St. Louis, Missouri.

He passed away in 2020.

He had lived all over the world (places like Alaska, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, and Missouri). Paul has worked all kinds of jobs, which include: Cook, managing a bookstore, a disc jockey, and bowling alley attendant.

Paul had degrees in Telecommunication and Culinary. Before switching to multimedia, he was majoring in history. He was passionate about both cooking and gardening.

Being a life long fan of science fiction and fantasy, he was able to bring this love to the writing he does. He has written the “The Etheric Academy” series, “Federal Witch” series, and the “Athena Lee Chronicles” series.

“The Forgotten Engineer” is the first novel in the “Athena Lee Chronicles” series, which was released in the year 2016. Athena Lee (an ensign) was just a month into her new assignment as the ship’s most junior engineer. She was to assist in the building of a secret station in a remote galaxy.

How could she possibly know that it would be her final official assignment? Right into their midst jumps an enemy fleet. During the battle’s aftermath, she was left behind and forgotten.

What is an engineer to do when they are faced with some insurmountable odds and any hope of being rescued? She alters the equation, of course.

Fans of the novel found that they would easily continue on with this series, there is tons of character, a fast pace, and a lot of action. The heroine is fun and has a lot of guts.

“Engineering Murder” is the second novel in the “Athena Lee Chronicles” series, which was released in the year 2016. Athena Lee has finally been rescued. Over the past fifteen years, the galaxy has changed. She finds that she has no rights, as she is arrested and tortured. Political corruption has taken things over.

Now someone wants to kill her. There are bounty hunters and assassins at each corner. What can an Engineer do? Use the proper tool for the right job and fix things.

Fans of the novel enjoy reading about this genius engineer in Athena Lee, she is simply a bad ass character. Readers enjoy all the pop culture references that are thrown in for laughs. The series is highly entertaining, and this one grabs your attention right away, and does not let go for an instant.

“Ghost Ships of Terra” is the third novel in the “Athena Lee Chronicles” series, which was released in the year 2016. Athena Lee has returned to the Navy. Assassins were hired to kill her, her own military forgot all about her, and her government locked her up, treating her like they would a terrorist.

She is only doing what she does best. Being the best Engineer in the entire Galaxy. Pirates threaten her while she goes looking for the Ghost ships of Terra.

Fans of the novel found this one was even better than the two before it. The stories are fast and fun reads that make you wish they were longer. This book does a great job of developing the characters even more in this book. This book will be enjoyed by those that enjoy reading space battles.

“Revolutionary” is the fourth novel in the “Athena Lee Chronicles” series, which was released in the year 2016. Athena had gone back to her birth planet. She is back home to see the family that she has not seen in the past sixteen years. The James Cook (which is her ship) is there to repair the damage that was caused by the O’Malley pirates.

The peaceful and agrarian world is now overrun by graft and corruption. Her own family is caught up in a power play for the control of the resources and the planet each and every day.

What was supposed to be a nice visit of her family becomes a trial of her will. What about that marriage they arranged for her? Nope!

This engineer is going to have to fight her own family for her own survival. A reckoning is coming, is she going to be ready for it?

Fans of the novel enjoy reading the series more and more with each and every book they get their hands on. Some were up late, so they could finish the book off, and were unable to set the book down to go to sleep for the night.

“Insurrection” is the fifth novel in the “Athena Lee Chronicles” series, which was released in the year 2016. Athena and her home planet are still recovering from the revolution that swept through their part of the galaxy. The Space station is under new management and Athena’s ship took off without her.

Paney (the Empire ship) is still on patrol and is threatened by the Bad Penny Pirate clan.

Mutiny, general mayhem, and piracy follow her it seems, while she finds out about a secret plot that might just threaten the known galaxy.

Fans of the novel found this to be another awesome read from T. S. Paul. The characters pull you right into the story and the story is fast paced, making you keep reading until the book is finished. The books keep getting better, and the characters are all interesting and fun.

“Imperial Subversion” is the sixth novel in the “Athena Lee Chronicles” series, which was released in the year 2016. The revolution has ended and all corrupt government officials have been put in prison. Cabal, a Secret Society, has risen and has a single goal. Total control of the Galaxy.

Athena Lee and family are in the middle of this new fight, when the Cabal tries to take over her planet. This secret group has undermined the military and feel that if they can’t have the galaxy, then no one can. Another war is coming and Athena and her buddies are the sole people that will be able to prevent her home from ultimate destruction.

The Athena Lee chronicles, quit at book 10 in the middle of a war, leaves the reader hanging as to what is the final outcome and why the series didn’t continue through a logical conclusion. Quite disappointing!I personally dislike authors that do this to their readers, loyalty is a two-way street.
