Tade lives in the south area of England and also works there. Even though he is officially a published author, he has a background in psychiatry, medicine, and social anthropology as well.

Tade Thompson first became an officially published author with the release of his first novel in 2015. The novel is a science fiction based story and is titled Making Wolf. It received the Golden Tentacle Award in 2016.

The next novel to come out was Rosewater. It was named to the list of recommended reading for Locus. He has also written short stories, at least one of which has made the short list for an award. The author likes reading, but also picks up a comic or two to switch it up. Tade says that he likes jazz as well as baking bread that comes out a little funny.

Tade Thompson is the creator and author of the Wormwood Trilogy. The series kicked off when Rosewater was released to readers in 2016. The sequel follows and is called The Rosewater Insurrection.

Rosewater is the first novel in the Wormwood series of fictional novels. This series has won awards and has already garnered tons of fans in this unique sci-fi caper that takes place in Nigeria. The title of the book gets its name from the town, which also goes by the name of Rosewater.

This town may have seen stable days in the past, but now this town is officially on edge. If they don’t get it together, they could lose everything that they have there. The community has formed up, surrounding the edges of an alien bio dome that has mysteriously appeared. The people that live there are of all sorts. While some are hungry, others are hopeful.

While others are helpless, some form fast friendships. Others have an interest in the dome itself, and they desperately want to get the chance to be able to peek inside and see what they see. These are individuals that want to find out more about what this strange dome does and what its purpose is. Others just want to be able to tell others the story about how they were the ones that were able to look inside and see the secrets that this thing revealed first.

The people gathered around this dome are excited to see what is going on. It could be anything from a giant robotic structure that aliens flew here to being the home for viruses that could be unleashed upon the planet. Other people believe that the dome actually has the ability to heal them and that’s what it could do. Everyone fantasizes among themselves about what it is capable of.

Any of them could be right, but does that mean that they will find out anything at all about the bio-dome? It’s anyone’s guess. At the same time, Kaaro has been glimpsed being inside the dome. Someone caught a peek of this agent in the service of the government and now Kaaro wants to make sure that does not happen again.

Then something starts to have the effect of killing people and no one knows what is happening. The agent himself is perplexed and worried that others and himself included in that group are going to be feeling the effects of something. Whether it is a side effect of the dome and it’s actually hazardous to health or everyone there or there’s a murderer on the loose, no one knows for sure.

It’s up to Kaaro to figure out just what is going on. Kaaro needs to find out what is causing this, tracking down an answer at any cost. He must do this even if it means going against the wishes of his masters. If that is what it demands of him in his quest to find the truth, then that is the price that he is willing to pay.

That is not the only challenge that this agent will have to face. It’s going to take a lot out of him and nearly test everything that he has. He’ll not only have to face his past, but the darkness of what he has been through in order to get to this one exact point in time. It’s his only option if he wants to get down to what really is going on.

Something is for sure afflicting most of the people there, but what is it exactly? Kaaro must figure out the burdens of the past if he is going to ever come to full power in the moment. Will some realizations come along with it involving what the future might be holding? Anything is possible in this fast paced thriller from an author whose ability to lock you into his story may surprise you!

The Rosewater Insurrection is the second novel in the trilogy by Tade Thompson. If you have ever wanted to read a sci-fi book that is dynamic and fresh, this series is the one for you.

Rosewater is a city located in Nigeria. For now, everything there is quiet. The town is busy expanding as it sits contently on the back of a certain thing known as Wormwood. That would be a giant alien and by now those who have figured out what really happened during an invasion are not really saying anything about it to the others.

Maintaining the secret is the best way to retain the peace. Kaaro is retired now, but he has taken a lover. She is named Aminat and is just like him in that she is a government agent. She is at the front of all of this– the conflict that rages silently.

Aminat’s job is to track and capture someone that may be the key to saving the entire human population. The target is important, but when an ancient enemy of the alien comes out to play and the mayor’s scheming plots come to light, can the two of them handle what comes their way?

Read this awesome sequel for yourself to find out!
