Talia Carner was once the lecturer at international women economic forums and the publisher of Savvy Woman magazine. Her addictions include social justice, hats, chocolate, and ballet.

While writing, stories will just find her. Right when she is far along with a novel and believe that it could be her last, the next project begins to present itself to her. Each idea takes a hold of her heart and her head and then she is compelled to spend three to six years at a time working out each one. Talia figured out the ideas come from seeds that sprouted in her psyche many years prior.

She never plans out the plot, instead, she gets on the journey with her protagonist and learns with her as she finds herself in all kinds of different situations involving the historical truth or the central social issue in the novel. She does have to redirect her main character so Talia is not led astray from the main story line into the less relevant parts of her life. Each time the reader get surprised, Talia was surprised the story took that turn, too.
