All the novels of the series feature the stories of the Terran Volunteers. Each novel of the series features a different set of primary characters, who are described in lead pairs in the plots of the each of the novels of the series. One of the initial novels of the series was published in the year 2008 by the eXtasy Books publishing house. It was titled ‘Flicker’ and featured the main characters in the form of Seval Wythin and Vorabenik of Azon, often referred to as Ben. In the opening sequence of the plot of the novel, it is shown that Seval has the ability to actually disappear, which is wished by many others in her world. She is asked to be the bodyguard of the Alliance group, teaming up with the Azon partner Vorabenik or Ben. Eventually, she begins to love and respect Ben and also reveals her ability of disappearing to Ben.
But, when Ben gets attracted by the ruthless Ambassador, she begins to wonder whether she can live a worthy life with her power of invisibility without the man whom she loves a lot and respects. In another plot of the novel, Sarah Anders is introduced as a Scorcher and specializes in having the ability of burning the victims of plague in order to make the worlds good enough to live again. Soon, she gets captured along with her ship and then sold to the slavers for having an attractive body, which was supposed to fetch a good prize for the captors. But she believes that it is just a matter of time before she gets rescued by the Alliance. Before getting captured Sarah Anders had never imagined that she will be sold to the slavers for breeding, especially because she believed that her power as a scorcher was useful for a better living in the worlds. She had also never imagined that the new man in her life would be someone she could respect. The new man in her life is introduced as Athon Kellan, who is described as a mix-blooded creature. He has the appearance of a Dhemon, which always tends him to be at odds with his mating drive from Azon, Sarah Anders. In spite of that he makes a pair of deadly fighters with her. They come together out of necessity for each other, but it is to be seen whether they remain entwined for the rest of their remaining fates with the help of their joined bodies. In one of the other stories of the series, Genea is seen as using the ability of her mind and hands to knit bone and flesh.
However, she decides to leave active duty when her heart gets broken. Now, it is believed that it is only the touch of Minas that will help her to bring herself back. But, he seems to be in a dilemma in trying to trust Minas to safeguard her heart while she continues to struggle with the controlling of power that helps her to bring the life back in her body. On the other hand, Dehlia is shown as one of the workers of Weavers Guild. Her work as an emphatic Spinner helps her to gain a lot of respect and dignity. She is believed to trap her emotions in her yarns, which helps her to sell them at a higher price. She considers it normal to wake up on a pirate ship, but being a normal Terran, she finds it beyond normal to wake up with an elf in her lap. It seems that the elf named Taneus has traveled from a very place to trace her and help her to become free. But, after setting herself free with the help Taneus, she seems to get bound to him in ways that she cannot imagine, when Taneus is done with her relationship.
One of the other novels of the Terran Times series was published under the title ‘Guardian Enjel’. It was published by the eXtasy Books publishing house. The plot of this novel revolves around the lives of the main characters Miranda and Osias Aron. In the opening sequence of the plot of the novel, Miranda is depicted as being left by her peers for dead and then being enslaved by the ones who found her. Before that, she used to reach out to the calls of the ones in pain and heal them with her power of healing. But now, after getting captured and enslaved, she seems to enjoy each of her days satisfactorily one at a time without having to worry about the work of healing anyone or reach out to their calls. Soon, she asked by her Master to take under her wing a young Enjel and help him through the difficult time during his development phase. After that, her Guardian named Osias Aron comes to retrieve her from the master, due to which Miranda is brought along in the ride and finds her new owner as a man being after her body and heart. After a little while she gets attacked and is left brutalized to near death. This shakes Osias from within as he finds himself unable to protect her from all types of dangers surrounding her, as he had previously promised her. He also does not seem to have the same lust that he used to have previously for having her in his arms once again. When the two of them arrive in their home-world, the matters get out of Osias’s hands. Later, Miranda gets ensconced in the Aerie of Women, which causes Osias to get bound to and engage in the practices and customs of his race in order to win his lady back. However, Osias seems to get cheated by someone who also makes use of the same rules and makes the things go very roughly for him. Due to this, Miranda decides to put her life in the hands of her lover and with the Leap of Faith, hopes the right man to show up at the right time.
