Theo Baxter is a mystery fiction author who is best known as the brother of the psychological suspense thriller novelist Cole Baxter.

The author was brought up in New York and during his childhood, he lived in a neighborhood where crime was very prevalent.

It was from his experiences living in New York during that time that he got much of the inspiration for his mystery fiction novels.

Baxter published “Murder for Hire” his debut novel in 2021 and has been going ever since. He now has at least nine novels to his name and has not shown any sign of slowing down any time soon.
He has made a reputation for himself penning some very addictive novels that will have you reading through the night.

Theo usually keeps up with his fans and readers through the “Theo Special Reader List,” where he provides anything from giveaways to information about his latest releases.

“The Stepfather” by Theo Baxter is a work that introduces the leadS as a woman named Madelyn and Damon Blake her former husband.

They have just gone through a messy divorce but have been trying to cooperate in bringing up Connie their sixteen-year-old daughter.

Madelyn has recently married George Elway, a wealthy restaurateur, and believes she has found the happiness and love she deserves.

But Connie cannot stand George and tells her mother that the man gives her the creeps. She happens to be a very smart girl and she is certain that George is manipulating Madelyn and not treating her as she should be.
Connie believes George is hiding a secret, maybe a mistress. Her father Damon had come back from a tour of Afghanistan with PTSD but he also believes there is something off about George.

Through everything, Madelyn defends George and blames her ex for turning Connie against her new husband. Even though he was devastated by the divorce that she initiated, Damon loves Madelun and will do anything to help her.
When Connie ultimately finds out what her stepfather has been hiding she is shaken to the core and seeks refuge with her father.

Madelyn and Connie’s lives are in danger and only Damon could save them.

Theo Baxter’s “The Widow’s Secret” is a very interesting romance fiction work that tells the story of Lenore.

She is left devastated when she loses her husband Wade in a horrible hiking accident. He had been her only family but she is lucky that her sister-in-law is always there to offer support.
On the flip side, Micheal her husband and brother to Wade does not like her. Michael had disrupted the funeral as he cursed at her and screamed that she was a murderer.
She recently began going to a psychiatrist since she has been suffering from insomnia and also having nightmares when she finally gets some sleep.

When she is summoned to the police department a few months afterward, she meets a detective named Jeremy, who is the one in charge of the suspected homicide case of her husband.
Wade seems determined to take her down and has been doing everything to ensure she goes to prison, even though she is innocent.

But things get interesting when Wade is shot and Chelsea goes missing with Lenore the main suspect in a twisted plot of murder, betrayal, and secrets.
She believes that the things that have been happening have something to do with a dark secret in her dead husband’s family.

However, she could never in a thousand years imagine how shocking it could be and how far they would go to ensure it does not get out.

“Murder for Hire” by Theo Baxter is a thrilling work that introduces the lead as Dean, who wakes up to find his hands covered in blood and disoriented.

He believes he must have been struck by a seizure that has robbed him of the memory of what happened. Since he has a penchant for violence when he has an episode, he fears he may have done something really bad.
His mother comes into the room and screams and this is when he notices a dead body he realizes is that of his father on the bed.

When the detective on the case questions him, he realizes that he is entangled in a murky plot of revenge, infidelity, and deception that could rival a Hollywood script. Will she believe his story when even he is not so sure of it himself?
When he gets out on bail, things only get more convoluted and confusing.

He seems to be suffering from amnesia on everything leading up to the murder and he can only hope his memory and the truth of what happened comes out before he is arrested and charged with a heinous crime.
If he is found guilty, he could spend the rest of his life in prison.
