Timothy Ellis is a renowned author of science fiction that spends his days on the Gold Coast in Australia. Ellis, who has consumed almost every form of science fiction entertainment, is best known for the Hunter Legacy series.

The author’s books combine his love for space operas with his interest in spiritualism. Cats are also a pretty common aspect.

+Biography

Timothy Ellis is a diehard science fiction fan. He grew up consuming nothing but science fiction and fantasy. By the time he was in college, the author was spending an unhealthy amount of time playing a text-based Star Trek game on the school computers.

Timothy Ellis didn’t set out to write science fiction novels. If he’s honest, writing is something he stumbled upon in 2004 when he was brought on board by the people behind the Egosoft X Universe series and tasked with writing guides for the games.

Before that point, Timothy had done a little bit of everything. The same resume that lists Ellis’ time as a computer programmer and systems analyst also makes mention of his days as a farm worker and an antique dealer, not to mention a retail store owner.

Timothy Ellis came into the literary arena a little late. Circumstances drove him to abandon the corporate world. He began to explore spiritualism, at first getting into Feng Shui and then moving on to Buddhism, Tao and the like.

Some of the author’s fans have probably stumbled upon the articles he wrote during the mid-2000s, purposed towards introducing readers to spiritualism. When Timothy Ellis wasn’t writing about his spiritual experience, he was talking about it on various online forums and social media platforms.

Even before the Hunter Legacy series hit the bookshelves, Ellis had made a bit of a name for himself with books like ‘Personal Healing Using Basic Meditation’.

The Hunter Legacy series kicked off in 2015 and it saw Timothy Ellis take Amazon by storm with his litany of space operas that threw elements of spiritualism into the mix to create a uniquely fantastical reading experience.

+Literary Career

Timothy Ellis had no idea that writing would become a big part of his life. When the author left the corporate world, it was with the intention of tapping into the tourism industry in his area by opening up a giftware store. And the author will tell you that business was quite good.

But then 9/11 happened and everything changed. Tourism began to dry up and the business environment became inhospitable for a giftware store. Ellis was forced to close down.

The author didn’t realize that the disaster would begin his journey to publishing success. At the time, Timothy Ellis was too busy breaking down. He had endured quite a few problems in his life and it was all getting a little too much for him.

The author was driven to start wondering why his life has deteriorated so suddenly, and those questions led him to spiritualism, starting with Feng Shui and going all the way to Buddhism.

For a while, spiritualism consumed the author’s life. He dove headfast into that world, doing healing work, learning and writing about his experiences.

The author’s life took a turn when he went to Brazil to unwind and then returned to find that, not only was his mind clear but there were story ideas practically exploding out of his head.

Every story concept he had ever dreamt about over the last two decades suddenly came to the fro of his mind. So Timothy Ellis began to write, taking fourteen months to combine his love of spiritualism, cats and space operas to write and publish his first novel.

Things were difficult at the start. With his meager income, it was a struggle for Ellis to survive but he learned to get by on just the basics. It wasn’t until the third book that the author’s sales grew.

Ellis will tell you that he doesn’t know why the sales spiked. He had only done minimal marketing. The author has suggested that his success might be imputed to the rapid rate at which he released the first five books in his series.

The author has also sold his books exclusively through Amazon. Ellis remembers the moment in 2016 when he realized that he had just earned one year’s worth of his salary in a single month.

It changed his life. He went from getting by on the bare minimum to having the money to buy whatever he wants.

The biggest challenge to Timothy Ellis’ life has also been his biggest advantage, though the author probably wouldn’t refer to his migraines as an advantage.

The migraines were partly responsible for Timothy Ellis’ decision to abandon the corporate world. They were a never-ending source of agony for him, and for a long time, he survived primarily on disability.

However, without the migraines, the author might have never left the corporate arena. More importantly, he might not have had the time to think, plan and write his novels. Unfortunately, because of the Migraines, Ellis struggles to maintain a proper writing schedule.

Throughout the day, the author either is going into a migraine, dealing with a migraine or contending with the consequences afterward. Finding that perfect interval of time during which he can work is difficult. But Ellis has succeeded in publishing because he perseveres.

+Hero at Large

Jonathon is an 18-year-old young man with a pair of sexy bodyguards who must take on the mantle of reluctant hero when his life intersects with 27th Century Pirates and a mysterious prophecy.

Timothy Ellis’ first book has been commended for its solid plot and first paced writing. The protagonist is a young and relatively naïve man who starts out as an ordinary figure. Then he realizes that he might have a grand role to play in the business of the universe.

+Hunted Hero Hunting

Jonathon Hunter is in over his head. The spiritual warrior cannot go two steps without running into danger. From bounty hunters to mercenaries it seems like everyone wants a piece of him.

It eventually dawns on Jonathon that, if he wants to survive, he might have to transition from prey to predator.

This book is primarily written with young male readers in mind, individuals who dream about going on grand adventures, winning all the battles and getting the girl.
