Antony is a brutal drug lord, who punishes Summer Parish whenever she does not do want he expects her to do. Summer’s job involves giving herself out to some of the most prominent men in her local town. In this cruel world, Summer discovers that she is alone with no one to lean on. Furthermore, Summer knows that she can never claim the life that she used to have. Lori used to have a simple life, such that her biggest fear was the crush that she used to have on her neighbor across the street. Summer’s only resolution in life is to be a sex object.

She also hopes, that when she grows old, her boss Anthony is not going to kill her with his gun because she will be of no help to him. Later on, we meet with Summer as she waits patiently in one of the penthouses, for another man who was going to be spending the night with her. Within the penthouse is one of Anthony’s men watches over her with a hawks eye. The man’s job is t0o stay in the room as Summer engages with the clients. The client that Summer will spend the night with is someone who saved Antony’s life a while back. RJ happens to be an ex-convict and one of Anthony’s most recent recruit. As a token of appreciation, Anthony decided to present Summer as a gift. Summer, on the other hand, has no other option but to follow everything that RJ tells her. However, to her surprise, RJ treats Summer with respect and even is more than willing to win her trust. When RJ pulls Summer into his arms, Summer is overwhelmed with the pleasure that RJ gives her. Furthermore, RJ does not ask for anything in return.

When the hours of pleasure are over, Summer has to treat RJ with some polite reserve because she knows that she still belongs to Anthony. Being a gentleman that he is, RJ does not want Summer to share a bed with him simply because she is being forced to. RJ is more than determined to ensure that Summer relies on him. When it comes to Summer, RJ has already made big plans. Some of these plans may end up getting him killed, but he is willing to take the risk. With that said, In His Arms is a masterful and emotional story, which deals with a wide array of disconcerting topics. Apart from prostitution, In His Arms also deals with sex trafficking, child abuse, and Stockholm syndrome. In His Arms also with the dangerous underworld crime, which does a true psychopath, who will not hesitate killing someone simply because he does not like them, run.

This is undeniably a tough read; however, author Tina Donahue does a brilliant job of handling some of the sensitive matters in a manner, which will definitely amaze the readers. The emotional intensity and the depths within some of the pages in the novel regarding RJ and Summer are not only moving but also fierce as well.

All the characters in the novel have their agenda; Summer’s agenda is to ensure that she is safe while RJ, on the other hand, is simpler. Nonetheless, what RJ plans to do with Summer is the biggest revelation of the story. RJ wants to be Summer’s hero and knight in shining armor, however, Summer declines the offer. Summer has been trained in such a manner that she believes she is Anthony’s property. Summer is a lady who is about to break down, however, when RJ comes to the rescue, things begin to change. Summer and RJ’s love scene are not only emotional but very erotic. RJ tries to reach out to Summer’s soul with overpowering and hot sex. Between the two, no position is off limits.

Close to Perfect
Close to Perfect is another brilliantly written novel by Tina Donahue. In Close to Perfect author Tina Donahue introduces the readers to Josh Wyatt, a good looking real estate mogul. Apart from having a wicked grin, Josh Wyatt is also a man who has sexy eyes and a wicked body. Furthermore, Josh Wyatt’s tabloid photos of him emerging from a secluded Florida pool made him the most delectable hunk in all of America, a poll that was mainly done by women. As time goes by, Josh Wyatt realizes that it is time for him to get a bodyguard. Nonetheless, it does not take long before he meets Tess Franklin, the sultry and leggy ex-cop. It is at this point that Josh realizes that he has met his match.

Apart from scaring away the paparazzi, Josh also pretends that Tess Franklin is his girlfriend. Furthermore, Tess was never going to say no to such an easy job. With that said, the chemistry between Josh Wyatt and Tess Franklin was amazing.

Wicked
In Wicked, author Tina Donahue introduces the readers to Tiffany Taylor, a former bookworm. Tiffany has always wanted Nick; however, the only challenge is that Nick has never noticed her. However, when Tiffany has a controlling interest in Nick’s casino and a new look, Nick begins to notice her. However, Nick does not plan on giving Tiffany his area of expertise, which is gaming. Nick instead proposes that the two can play strip poker to determine who will control the casino. If Tiffany loses, she will not only lose control of the casino, but Nick will also be entitled to a night of passion with Tiffany. With that said, Wicked is a hot and spicy contemporary romance that any romance lover will fall in love with.
