“Spear Song” is the third novel in the “Isle of Destiny” series, which was released in the year 2017. Always cheerful Gwenith Donovan is pleased with her life. She is the owner of a hobby store, maintains a comic-book collection that makes her nerdy heart sing, and keeps up daily arguments with Macgregor (her chubby cat). “Sphere Song” is the fourth novel in the “Isle of Destiny” series, which was released in the year 2018. Neala O’Riordan is not a stranger to all of the spicy and sweet things in life. However, that is more due to her running her acclaimed bakery in Kilkenny, and less to do with her having any kind of dating life to speak of. Instead of romantic entanglements, Neala pours all her love and attention into the rapidly growing business she owns and the in-demand sweets she puts together.

An upset man rushes into her bakery one morning, and it turns Neala’s life upside down. Quickly, she is thrust into a fairy tale world, and she is the star. She is told the whole fate of Ireland, and possibly the rest of the world too, is on her shoulders. It makes her eager to turn tail and head for the hills, but she is stopped right in her tracks by the storm she sees in the eyes of Dagda, who is her handsome protector.

With a single look, Dagda challenges Neala to stay put and fight it out, accepting her destiny and change the course of the future. Neala, who is unable to resist a challenge, throws all caution to the wind and joins up with an unlikely group of magickal humans and fae. All while she finds herself being sucked right into the adventure of a lifetime.

This is a race against the clock to end an ancient curse, and Neala tries to do her very best to protect her heart from falling for the quiet charms of her alluring protector. Her struggle to resist her attraction to Dagda may well be a lost cause, Neala refuses to lose the battle against the dark fae. With aid from friends from Grace’s Cove, Neala holds fast to her belief that love is always going to light the way against any darkness, no matter what.

   I discovered Tricia a couple of years ago. I’ve read almost all of her books. What a wonderful author. I love all her stories. Next up to read is The Isle of Destiny series. Then her stand alone books. I follow her on Facebook and she is always ‘talking’ to her fans and is such a wonderful person along with her extreme talent for writing wonderful books.
