The debut book of this romance series is entitled ‘Their Kidnapped Bride’. It was self-published by Vale in 2015. This novel takes place in Bridgewater, Montana, United States. Initially, it is mentioned that Emma James has lived a secure life so far. Her step-brother’s protection, social standing, and money have helped her to live a content life. But, her life turns upside down all of a sudden when she learns her step-brother’s dark secrets.
To make matters worse, Emma is sold to a brothel in the western part of the country as a means to keep her mouth shut about the secrets forever. As soon as Emma is brought to the brothel, she is made to stand in an auction for virgins and her beauty makes every pair of eyes in the room want her lustfully.
Two men, Ian Stewart and Whitmore Kane decide to have Emma at any cost and enter into a bidding war, jointly against other bidders. Both of them want to buy Emma at the auction at any price and marry her. After winning the bid, Ian and Whitmore take Emma to their ranch in Bridgewater, where she is shocked to learn that she will have to please both the men as her husband.
Seeing that she doesn’t have any other choice, Emma helplessly gives in to their demands. Later, Ian finds himself in danger and wonders if Whitmore and Emma would help him in his fight for a better future together.
The second volume of the series is called ‘The Wayward Bride’. It was also released as a Kindle book in 2015. Vale has also set this novel in Bridgewater and has mentioned the primary characters in the form of Mason, Laurel Sinclair, and Brody. The book opens by depicting that Laurel Sinclair has an uncaring father, who forces her to get married to one of his acquaintances as part of a lucrative business deal.
Laurel doesn’t wish to let others decide her fate and flees her home. To her bad luck, she gets stuck in a blizzard and seems helpless. When handsome ranchers Brody and Mason come to her rescue, Laurel feels relieved. Shortly after, Laurel receives the shock of her life when the men reveal their intention to her.
They think that they can convince Laurel Sinclair to marry them both in return for the help they provided her when she desperately needed it. At first, Laurel seems reluctant to the Bridgewater custom of a lady marrying two men together, but as time goes by she starts loving both the protective men.
Not only Laurel begins loving them from the bottom of her heart, but she also starts respecting them for making her experience such carnal pleasures that she was not aware of before. Her love keeps growing with time for their protection and guidance for her.
On one hand, Laurel is happy to have found such loving men and on the other hand, she fears that they might stop loving her after discovering the secrets she harbors. She also worries that her happy life will be destroyed when her scheming dad and her cruel fiance succeed in tracking her down.
