Victoria Pinder is a romance and romantic suspense novelist from Miami. The author was brought up in Catholic Boston and as an adult, she started out as an engineer, which just goes to show how good she was at mathematics.

But she hated being an engineer and quit the field to go to law school as a twenty four year old. She passed the bar four years later but never really practiced the law, as she found out that she did not like it.

She did not want to turn fifty and realize that she spent much of that time clocking hours at some desk. Realizing the need for change she went into teaching which she found rewarding. It was during this time that she started writing stories to calm and entertain herself.

She had spent years living the dreams of other people and particularly her parents that she could not be happier writing. When she started writing and realized how skilled she was at something she enjoyed so much it would become a passion.

At thirty years old the sentence in the middle school yearbook saying she would become a writer came true.

Aside from her full time job as a teacher, Victoria Pinder was busy writing and between 2013 and 2014 she published with Jupiter Press, Double Dragon Ebooks, and Soulmate Publishing.

Her debut novel was “Mything You,” which opened the floodgates and made her one of the most prolific authors in the romance genre. Pinder now has nearly 100 titles across more than a dozen series of novels and single standing novels. The author works with the Blue Ridge Literary Agency’s Dawn Dowdle.

Aside from writing her novels, she has been very busy in writing groups across the United States and particularly in her home state of Florida.

She is a member of writer groups including Savvy Authors, romance, Celtic Hearts, Contemporary romance, Paranormal and futuristic chapter of the Romance Writers of America, Futuristic and paranormal fiction.

She has attended many conferences over the years and does not intend to stop any time soon. It is at the conferences that she gets to meet all manner of writers, who impart wisdom to her on how to write and sell her novels.

Going back to her childhood, Victoria Pinder used to attend “Star Trek” conventions and would sometimes find herself the only girl in a comic books store during the 1990s.

As such, her first love will always be science fiction. Her father used to take her along to attend the many star trek conventions he would never miss and she spent several years being the only girl in a comic books store during the 90s.

After living in Miami, Florida for several years, Victoria Pinder moved across the US and established her new home in Denver. She still writes her settings in Miami because it provides so much of the drama she loves.

Victoria Pinder’s novel “Secret Crush” introduces John Morgan, a billionaire agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigations. He is back home to attend his father’s funeral, which is where he meets his sister’s best friend.

He had always dreamed of becoming a federal agent and he now wants it even more. He suspects his father had been involved in the death of his sister and believes he can resolve the mystery by joining the FBI.

He had been estranged from his father for years when the man died and he had to go back home. Trying to deal with the ghosts from his past proves a daunting task.

Alice Collins had recently had her world view challenged following the bizarre death of her best friend. Since she grew up in a very small town, she was expected to attend Mr. Morgan’s funeral. It is not long before the present and the past collide and she finds herself the target of a deranged maniac.
Things only get more complicated when John, a billionaire FBI agent who’s the son of the dead man, comes to her aid. Does he have something else in mind or is he really taken by the beautiful small town girl?

“Secret Baby” by Victoria Pinder just like the previous novel is set at a funeral. Victoria Morgan shocks everyone when she turns up at her father’s funeral since she had been believed dead for more than five years.

She had to make everyone believe that she was dead just to escape the cruel manipulations of her billionaire father. She is now dealing with the tragic loss of her child and a broken heart and this had driven her back home where her father just died.

Back home, she uncovers a tranche of lies and secrets. One of the biggest of these is that the child she believed dead was alive and well, and living with the man who had broken her heart.

Colt Collins is a former marine who had taken to raising his child all alone when the mother left. He resents Victoria for leaving him to take care of their daughter all alone and died without offering any kind of explanation. He had decided to live his life, even planning to marry so that his daughter can get a well deserved childhood.

But then Victoria comes back and he realizes that much of what he believed was as it seemed. She wants to take back their daughter but Colt is not so trusting of Victoria.

Victoria Pinder’s novel “Secret Bet” introduces Peter Morgan. He is the heir to a billion dollar estate even though he is cynical about women and is known to be quite arrogant. He was raised by a manipulative father after being abandoned by his mother and has learned not to trust anyone with his heart.

As an adult, he could have any woman he wanted but is afraid most would just want him for his money. Morgan keeps his women at arm’s length and never lets anyone stick around for long or get too close. He believes this is the smart thing to do and has asserted that he is not afraid of commitment.

When his brother bets that he will not last a month with one woman he takes on the challenge only for the woman to change all the rules.

Belle Jordan is a former marine who had once been left at the altar and vowed to never go through that pain again. But she is now being pursued by the brother of the man who broke her heart and she cannot resist him.
