Violetta Rand
Growing up in Corpus Christi, Texas, Violetta Rand spent her childhood playing soccer, reading, and writing. After she met her husband in New England, they moved to Alaska where she studied environmental science and policy as an undergraduate before she went to grad school. Violetta then spent almost a decade working as an environmental scientist, specializing in water and soil contamination and environmental assessments.

Violetta spends her days writing evocative New Adult romance and historical romance while still living in Anchorage, Alaska. When she is not busy editing, reading, or writing, she enjoys spending time with her husband, friends, and pets. In her free time, she loves fishing, hiking, riding 4-wheelers and motorcycles.

Violetta has never had writer’s block. If she ever needs a couple days off, she will take that time to recharge. Her head is filled with characters and words, and it can be tough to turn off sometimes.
