Author Virginia Heath is a former history teacher and is enthusiastic about drinking tea. She and her husband live near London with their two kids.

As a child, it took a long time for Virginia to fall asleep, so it made her make up stories in her head to pass the time while she would stare at the ceiling. The older she got, the stories she would tell got more complicated, taking longer and longer to get to the happy ending. One day, she decided to embrace her insomnia and begin writing these stories down.

Fortunately for her, Harlequin Mills and Boon saw that there was some potential in her stories and decided to publish them. It allows her to write Regency romances, and create heroes that she herself falls in love with and heroines that inspire her. This also fulfills her dreams of writing novels for Harlequin.

When she is not making up her own stories, she enjoys to travel to far away places, look for things to buy she doesn’t need, walking Trevor (her beloved Labrador), and read other peoples’ stories. It still takes a long time for her to fall asleep.

Virginia writes historical romance novels. She writes the “King’s Elite” series, and the “Wild Warriners” series, as well as some stand alone novels. Her debut novel “That Despicable Rogue” was released in the year 2016.

“The Discerning Gentleman’s Guide”, her third novel, was shortlisted for a Romantic Novel of the Year Award.

“A Warriner to Protect Her” is the first novel in the “Wild Warriners” series, which was released in the year 2017. This novel stars Violet Dunston and Jack Warriner. Violet Dunston, an heiress, escapes from being abducted, and finds an unlikely protector in Jack Warriner, who is a member of one of the most infamous families in England. Settled in with the mysterious Jack behind the walls of his manor, making escape that last thing from Letty’s mind.

Jack might be an earl, but the exploits of his dad have left him nothing to offer but a tarnished name. He has turned his back on the town. Letty tempts him both night and day, and he finds himself thinking the unthinkable. A society marriage.

Virginia Heath creates strong chemistry between her pair of lead characters and both central characters is engaging and attractive. This is a highly enjoyable historical romance read from a talented author. Her writing is complex, but clever, witty, and light.

“A Warriner to Rescue Her” is the second novel in the “Wild Warriners” series, which was released in the year 2017. This novel stars Cassandra Reeves and James Warriner. Captain James Warriner is stunned to find a beautiful woman caught in a tree in his orchard. He rescues Miss Cassandra Reeves, even with a shattered leg, and then resolves to have nothing further to do with this enticing vicar’s daughter.

Except Cassie seeks Jamie out so that she can apologize, and they find themselves talked into working on her storybook together. Secret liaisons with this dashing soldier make Cassie wish for Jamie to rescue her once again. By making her his wife.

Readers were able to race through this beautiful love story in a single sitting. It is imbued with sensuality, humor, and warmth. The book will make you cry and make you laugh, all while you engage with each of the characters in the story.

“A Warriner to Tempt Her” is the third novel in the “Wild Warriners” series, which was released in the year 2018. This novel stars Isabella Beaumont and Joseph Warriner. Shy Lady Isabella Beaumont has just been through a stunning incident and is perfectly happy and willing to keep in the background, letting her sister get all the attention from good looking suitors.

However, working with Dr. Joseph Warriner to help the needy and sick pushes her much closer to a man than she ever has been before. Is this guy worth trusting with her deepest desires?

Joe is just as lovable as his brothers, as he is an honorable and sweet hero. Once again, the book has you laughing, crying, and cheering for the protagonists. The story is a tender one, and the relationship the main characters have is built slowly and deeply.

“A Warriner to Seduce Her” is the fourth novel in the “Wild Warriners” series, which was released in the year 2018. This novel stars Felicity Blunt and Jacob Warriner. Schoolmistress Felicity Blunt feels desperately dull and old beyond her years. Meeting Jacob Warriner, confirmed rake, brings her wonderfully to life, but no matter his allure, she has to remain immune to the unashamed flirtation and obvious charms. Is Jacob just a mischievous scoundrel, or could there be a lot more to this Warriner than meets the eye?

This is another instance where Virginia Heath delivers a compelling and charming book. Each of the characters are memorable, and the main character is a handsome rogue that steals your heart. For some, it has been excellent getting to know each of the brothers while they have their romances.

“The Mysterious Lord Millcroft” is the first novel in the “King’s Elite” series, which was released in the year 2018. Living the life of a duchess. Or something that might be much more dangerous?

Lady Clarissa is told that her charm and beauty is all she has to offer, and she is intent on marrying some duke. Sebastian Leatham, an intriguing spy is going to help her out. Only first she is going to help him with his current assignment, where he plays the part of a confident aristocrat named Lord Millcroft.

Sebastian wakes up a burning desire inside of Clarissa that leaves her wondering whether or not becoming a duchess is what she really is longing for.

Readers enjoyed reading about Sebastian and his blushing. This is a fast paced roller coaster ride and readers enjoyed the entire experience from beginning to end. The plotting was well done, as it balanced the warm humor, Historical Romance, and the mystery of smuggling ring perfectly.
