W. Winters is a pen name for the author Willow Winters. Under the name of W. Winters, she is the author of the Merciless series, the Irresistible Attraction series, the Hard to Love series, and the This Love Hurts series.
Winters start writing after having her child in December of 2015. Throughout the pregnancy she would read everything she could get her hands on, often reading a book or two per day. She was only reading romance novels and would just fly through them. After her child was born, ideas for her own stories started to come to her. One day she sat down and decided to start writing and they just came out. It was something that she wanted to do so decided that it wouldn’t hurt anything to give it a try.
She has garned a lot of fans in this short time as a writer and has enjoyed connecting with them all. Some days are harder than others because she watches her kids during the day and writes at night. It can be very exhausting and then she gets some feedback from a reader which motivates her to keep going. This makes Winters grateful in many ways and for the career that writing has given her.
Love The Way You Kiss Me is the first book in the Love the Way series that W. Winters wrote with Amelia Wilde. Eleanor Bordeu is a wounded young woman who carries many physical and mental scars. It has all left her mind frail to the point that she can’t be trusted. The Firm have been brought in to take care of her and help her to heal. The Firm in her life brings Zander into her life as well. The two spend a lot of time together and grow close, but they both know how inappropriate it would be. Of course, controlling your emotions is easier said than done.
The This Love Hurts series begins with This Love Hurts. There are some love stories that slow burn while others are quick to ignite and can burn your soul before you know it. You can’t run from it and that kind of love is the kind of thing that this book is about. The book tells the story of FBI Agent Cody Walsh and the prosecuting attorney, Delilah. They have a real, obvious connection, but standing in the way is Marcus who manipulates things from the shadows.
This Love Hurts continues with But I Need You. The love triangle between Cody, Marcus, and Delilah continues to get hot here. The pull between the characters is strong and we learn a lot more about how Marcus works in this one. He is a warped man, but there is something about him as well.
Hard to Love is the first book in a series of the same name. She was too good for this world, but he was too far gone to push her away. He grew up on the streets and now he runs them. That has lead to a life of blood and violence for everything that he touches, except for her. One touch from her could soothe his soul, a look for her would torment him. She was his only escape as well as his addiction and the only reason that he survive. He should’ve known better than to draw her into his life. Now, danger is coming for her as well.
The Hard to Love series continues with Desperate to Touch. She never wanted his life of crime, but she did want him. She know that she should have ran from him, but her heart wouldn’t let here. He came for her and he got her because that’s what they wanted, but he’s not the one she fell in love with anymore. The pieces are still there, but they aren’t whole. She knows what he wants and what it will cost. She’s will to pay it too, if only for a chance to touch him again. Just one more time. She’ll forget about the risks and the danger, just for a chance to be together.
A Single Game is the first book in the Irresistible Attraction series. Jase Cross finds himself becoming absolutely obsessed with Bethany Fawn. And why not? She’s feisty, she’s beautiful and she has a big attitude. But she’s also in mourning for her dead sister. The loss puts her into a bad place that has her drawing attention to herself in a bad way. A way that Jase doesn’t want for him or his family.
The Irresistible Attraction series continues with A Single Kiss. Bethany should feel shame for not wanting this to end, but he doesn’t want it to end either. There is darkness around them and war. It is dangerous and there is a tangled web of lies for them to get lost in, but they don’t care. She only wants him, even if he’s her enemy because he’s also the only person that she can trust. Jase is a man who was born to be powerful. Now, she’s given him even more of it.
Merciless is the first book in the Merciless series. Aria Talvery is the daughter in a dangerous crime family. She saw her own mother murdered in front of her as a small child and has never been the same since. Her father may be a criminal, but he’s also kept her safe. Her main source of comfort is drawing and she can hide from the danger to do it, but one day someone steals her drawing pad that had a special drawing in there. She makes a decision to leave the home to get it back, a decision that will change everything for her as it is in the outside world that she meets Carter Cross. He’s the oldest of the Cross Brothers and the head of a drug cartel. He is heartless and dangerous, controlling and merciless. He didn’t want a part of the war, but he did want Aria. And he was going to get her.
