She has started writing at the age of nine and was famous for coming out with some interesting short stories at that young age. Her dad got to read one of her short stories and realized that she had a genuine talent as a writer. Hence she has no hesitation in stating that her dad is the biggest supporter and mentor in more ways than one. She did her college from University Of Southern California. The first book was authored in the year 2005 and the latest book was penned in the year 2013. It is about a character called Nikki Sands who is a waitress in Napa Valley, California. She nurtures ambition of becoming an actress. To earn a living she takes up the job of a waitress at a vineyard. In the course of her work she has a chance to work alongside an amateur sleuth. The entire series of Wine Lover Mysteries revolve around these two characters and of course there are other important persons in each of these books. Though each of these seven books under the Wine Lover Mysteries are extremely interesting, captivating and exciting there are a few book such as Murder By The Glass, A Vintage Murder, A Toast To Murder and A Killer Margarita which are considered to be the takeaways. Murder By The Glass

Nikki Sands has reasons to be extremely happy and elated as she is on the threshold of getting married. She has just overcome a love triangle involving her, a winemaker who is her neighbor and Derek Malveaux who the owner of the vineyard. She is all set to slip into the arms of her husband and things perhaps have never looked so good for her. However, just before the marriage she comes to know that her lover has cheated on her. Isabel, friend of Nikki is the caterer for the wedding and she asks Nikki to bring another round of drink for the groom who has cheated on her. In fact Isabel has already been married to Nikki’s proposed husband. Just when she is about to bring the drink to him, she is shocked to find that Isabel is found lying in a pool of blood on the floor, brutally murdered. Since Isabel has had a disturbed and troubled past, she could have made many enemies along the way. In fact some of the suspects are also very close to Nikki. Hence she has her task cut out as she has to not only find out the killer of Isabel, but also protect her name and see that she is not dragged into this murder. Is the poisoned wine the killer of Isabel or is there something more to it? This is the outline of Murder By The Glass and it certainly is a highly tantalizing storyline with many twists and turns.

A Killer Margarita

The story of the book A Killer Margarita again revolves around Nikki Sands. The story is set against the backdrop of a wonderful beach holiday in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The occasion is Christmas and all the family member of Nikki including her husband Derek Malveaux are extremely happy and looking forward to the event with bated breath. However things turn extremely dangerous and horrible when Nikki discovers that an unknown dead body is washed ashore. Nikki being the character that she is will not take it lying down. She is keen on getting to the bottom of the case. She takes up the case in right earnest and tries to track down the killers and the mystery surrounding the unidentified dead body which has been washed ashore. She has her two sidekicks Marco and Simon to help her out in this endeavor. It certainly is a dangerous venture and she could be in deep trouble because she could up against a single or a group of ruthless killers who might also be baying for her blood.

There are perhaps no TV serials or feature films which have been made based on the novels and books of Michele Scott under the Wine Lovers Mysteries series. However, the books still continue to be exceedingly well received and because of the popularity there have been many reprints. In fine there are many reasons to believe that when it comes to quality mystery stories and works that relate to crime of passion and hatred, Michele Scott simply excels. She is able to keep the entire audience guessing and the various twists and turns which the storyline goes through make each book of her simply unputdownable. Apart from the various books under the wine lover mysteries she has also authored dozens of books which also have been received very well across the spectrum. She has received a number of accolades and many of her books have been nominated for various awards and other special mentions.
