J. Robert Kennedy is a USA Today Bestselling author from Canada known for writing down the highly successful James Acton Thriller series. Most of his works are based on the Espionage, Mystery and Action Adventure genres and he has written more than a dozen novels which have gone on to become international bestsellers. The James Acton Thriller series was a smash hit in particular and is regarded as one of his best works. The first novel of the series has been on the bestseller list since it was released and was on the number one spot for more than three months straight. Other novels of the series written by author Kennedy have also been quite famous and included in the list of bestseller novels of a number of international lists such as Barnes & Noble, USA Today and Amazon. Author Kennedy has written a number of other bestselling thriller series’ including the Detective Shakespeare Mysteries and the Special Agent Dylan Jane Thrillers. Author J. Robert Kennedy has mentioned in a number of interviews that he is greatly inspired by the works of Tom Clancy and Dan Brown. After having established himself as a prominent writer of the thriller genre, Kennedy lives happily in Ontario, Canada along with his family. He has managed to stay away from the writer’s block occasionally and often tries his hand at the keyboard.

Author Kennedy always tries to think about a scene at the keyboard and then goes on to write it down. Apparently, J. Robert Kennedy needs some time to think about the scenes of the novels he wishes to write. Other than this, he usually takes a long ride in his car along the canals out in the country. He also tries to listen to some new age music which soothes his mind and gives him a relaxing environment which he feels is necessary for trying to think about a plot or character to write about. He maintains the habit of listening to music without lyrics in order to avoid ending up singing the songs all the time rather than thinking about his novels. Sometimes, author, Kennedy pulls over to note down some notes about the fresh ideas that come to his mind so that he does not forget them after reaching home from the ride. He suggests the upcoming writers to start typing that comes to their mind in order to come out of the writer’s block. According to him, it is important to keep the fingers moving and typing down the words coming to the mind, and then trying to think about the next words that might fit. He feels it is a much better approach than to just keep staring at the screen and thinking about what to write. This way, the writers can reach much further ahead in their novels, which gives them the boost to write many more novel plots.

The James Acton Thriller series written by author Kennedy consists of ten highly acclaimed novels published from 2010 to 2014. The first novel of the series was published under the title “The Protocol”, in the year 2010. The novel depicts the central character James Acton, who battles his way out of a number of odd situations and keeps striving to bring out the truth. He is sort of a reluctant hero, who tries to save the lives of the ones around him. James Acton is depicted as a Professor of Archaeology, who battles history throughout the series and strives to save himself and his loved ones from the difficult situations. The descendants of the Roman Empire, Triarii are depicted in the novel as the ones who have protected the country for over two thousand years, apart from influencing the historical discovery of America. In today’s world, the descendants of the Triarii try to pervade each and every level of the society. They try to race against the current government in order to retrieve a lost ancient artifact. The ancient artifact is believed to be lost forever and the Triarii attempts to find it before anyone else gets it. Archaeology professor James Acton is caught in the middle of his profession as he is hunted by the elite Delta Force and the Triarii relentlessly. The Delta Force has ordered him to take possession of anything he finds during his excavations, whereas the Triarii is equally determined to prevent him from doing so as they fear the artifacts might fall into the wrong hands. The novel shows the ups and downs in the life of professor James Acton, who tries to flee from places after places in order to save himself from the Triarii. In his attempt to do so, he is forced to witness the deaths of some of his students and friends. Finally, he flees to find the only person who can help him to come out of the situation, however, he later finds out that he is falling close to the same organization he is trying to run away from.

Laura Palmer is depicted to be entangled in an illegal weapons deal. She comes across a UNICEF who trespass her archaeological site in order to carry out an international conspiracy. This forces professor James Acton to move to Egypt in order to save his lover. However, he comes across a more dangerous situation where he comes to know about the Russian authorities trying to sell a nuclear weapon to the Egyptian authorities. The weapon had gone missing during the time of the Cold War and is now in great demand for its terrifying consequences against the rival countries. James Acton also witnesses a possible holy war between the Islamic and Christian communities in Egypt, who are hell bent on wiping each one out. The novel confronts the conflict between the world’s most powerful religions and shows the possible terrifying outcome of their conflicts.
