Leann Sweeney is a prolific writer who was born in Niagara Falls. She was raised in Niagara He received his education in Lemoyne College in Syracuse and at St. Joseph hospital, NY. Leann Sweeney holds a degree in behavioral science from the University of Houston. Lean Sweeny worked as a school nurse for a long time before she started writing full time.

Leann Sweeney is currently married and has two children. She has three granddaughters, a son-in-law and a daughter-in law. She has an amazing family. The three granddaughters are Morgan Elizabeth, Maddison Grace, and Meika Elise. She relocated from Texas in 2012 and moved to South Carolina accompanied by her husband, Mike, and her two cats.

Her visit to South Carolina inspired her to write The Cat, The Mill and The Murder after visiting the abandoned mill. After seeing the place, she developed a craft for the story after viewing the place around him. She did a lot of research while plotting this novel and therefore she learnt a lot of history about America. The ideas of the articles originate from an article she read in the newspaper about some adoptions that were illegal. The judge knew that several adoptions had been successful via forgery and sometime children were stolen directly from their parents. Leann Sweeney says that in order for her to write a successful series, she first cones up with a synopsis and a basic research of things that she doesn`t know about.

In 1980, she started crafting fiction. This was a lifelong dream that Leann Sweeney had. She later joined Sisters in Crime and MWA after gaining a fortune from writing. She had also attended classes that helped her to perfect her skills. Now Lean Sweeney creates the two mystery series namely, Cats in Trouble Mysteries and the Yellow Rose Mysteries. The corpse, the quilt and the cat in the Trouble Mysteries became the bestseller on the list for Independent Mystery. This was after debiting and making several top lists in the books store in 2009. Afterwards, The Lady and the Liar, The Cat, The Weapon, and The Wife made it to the bestseller list in the New York Times for the market paperbacks.

In the book The Cat, The sneak and the Secret, Tom and Jillian Hart are getting married. Before they tie the knot, they must ensure that Finn, their stepson, is comfortable with this place that is going to be their new home. Finn falls for a cat in Mercy Animal Sanctuary. After the two realize this, the two agree to take the cat despite the notorious kleptomaniac tortoiseshell kitty. So far, this cat has been sneaking out of the sanctuary bringing back socks, shoelaces, and trinkets. Jillian`s and Tom`s skills are enlisted by Finn after the cat brings an antique locket. The two decide the treasured item to its owner but their search is distracted by the discovery of a body. The cat`s find could suspiciously lead them to the killer. The series gets sweeter and sweeter. The series express Leann Sweeney as an outstanding cat lover.

Jillian, a cat quilter, finds a cute straying cat owned by Ritaestelle Longworth, who has a belief that someone is drugging her. Before the cat quilter gets to the charges, Chablis finds Ritaestelle. Could this cat help her solve her mysteries? In Leann Sweeney`s book The Cat, The Quilt, and The Corpse, Jillian is widowed and stays In South Carolina. She embarks on rebuilding her life with her three cats-Chablis, Merlot-as, and Syrah. She makes quilts for cats as special, sweet, and as smart as hers, and the business prevails. She comes back home from the quilting show only to find Chablis sneezing. Chablis is allergic to human beings and the only thing that could have made her sneeze could only be the presence of a human being. She therefore concludes that someone had broken into her house. She suspects catnapping when she discovers that the Abyssinian Syrah is missing. Driven by mournful Merlot`s and Chablis’s mourning she discovers that there are a lot more cats missing. In the process, she discovers a body of a young boy. Suddenly almost all the paws are pointing to her. Now she has to protect herself and the cats too. The mystery behind the cats keeps the reader tuned with anxiety and suspense. The delightful twists make the reader guess what could happen.

In Pushing for Bluebonnets Boyd request Abby to help him identify a young woman who survived murder and is fighting for her life. When Abby discovers she might be connected to the Texas family murder, she start developing questions about the victim`s pat. She has to make sure that none is hunting her as she carries out the investigation. The cat quilter, Jillian, volunteers to aid an animal sanctuary relocate few cats living in the textile mill that had been abandoned. Jillian did not expect meet a woman living in the place. The woman went missing a decade ago after the disappearance of her own daughter. Jeannie, the woman at the textile mill, didn`t want to abandon her cat, Boots, or even leave the mill. She felt that Boots and her had a role to play in protecting the place from `creepers` that would come during the night. Jeannie gets hurt in an accident. The individuals who come to aid repurpose the mill, unveil a horrible discovery. As Jillian begins to think, a new friend helps in her quest to dig a hidden dark secret. Between Kitty Quilting and her cats, Jillian Hart`s are full However, this does not become an obstacle to solving the mystery behind a missing milk cow. In the struggle to finding the missing cow, she manages to find the missing cats and discovers a body which is suspected to be that of a cold-blooded murder victim. This becomes the second involvement of cats in the Trouble Mystery Services. The cozy and cat lovers enjoy this episodes that are attention grabbing and carries along with them a sense of humor.
