Original Sinners: The Red Years: The Siren
The Siren is the first novel in Tiffany Reisz’s erotic series “Original Sinners: The Red Years”. This first book follows the adventures of protagonist Nora Sutherlin. Nora is an erotic author whose books have been wildly popular with her fans. Each new book she publishes is more eagerly received than the last. But Nora has a new kind of style she wants to display in her manuscript. It’s a different path, more personal, more sombre in tone. She’s convinced it will be the book that makes her career, if only it could get published.
The only obstacle in Nora Sutherlin’s way to getting her manuscript published is Zachary Easton. Easton is well polished and a successful British editor who takes good care of himself, even having the perfect polished manicured hands of a model. He agrees to allow her to publish the manuscript, but he has some conditions of his own that he wants the author to meet. In order for the book to see the light of day, the high maintenance editor demands that over a six week period, she must write the entire novel again to the standards he demands. if she can’t write the manuscript to his satisfaction over this time, the book will not get published.
Nora agrees to the deal and begins working with Zachary Easton to fine tune the manuscript. The hours are late, and they spend long sessions together. The time they spend together is totally exhaustive and Easton is demanding to ridiculous heights. But the more time Nora spends with him, the more aroused she starts to feel in his presence. At the same time, the presence of an ex lover enters into her life. Torn between her ex and her erotic attraction to the British editor, Nora must decide what to do. Sometimes in passion, nothing is as simple as it seems.
Original Sinners: The Red Years: The Angel
The Angel is the second book in the erotic series by Tiffany Reisz, “Original Sinners: The Red Years”. Infamous erotic novel author Nora Sutherlin is back once more and her love life has never been more complicated, but it’s also never been so hot. While Nora Sutherlin is an accomplished lover and dominatrix, she’s feeling the hurt this summer. Free to do what she wanted in the past, Nora hits a speed bump when she has to tone things down in order to protect her lover, Soren. Nora and Soren have a history that goes way back, and while things were hot between the two of them in the bedroom, Nora must back down for a while in order to protect Soren.
Nora must now go into hiding to make sure that Soren will be safe. Soren is up for a promotion, and any word of his activities in the bedroom or secret fetishes could prove disastrous to his reputation, ruining his chances for advancement and his job in general. So she goes into hiding, hitting up old friend and ally Griffin Fiske for a place to stay away from all the business and away from the possibility of exposing Soren. Fiske is rich and very happy to provide Nora with a place to stay for a bit. Nora is traveling with her young friend Michael, who is both a looker and totally friendly and charming. Fiske and Michael take up and spend their time experimenting and learning the ways of love and dominance.
Nora just can’t stop thinking of her lover Soren and how he is faring. It’s not easy to be up for promotion, but when you’re under investigation by a hounding journalist who has a point to prove, you can’t help wondering how it’s all going to turn out. Nora is no stranger to being in pain, but the pain and temptation of staying away are starting to play on her mind and body. In between worrying about Soren, Nora must contend with the entrance of an old flame back into her life. It’s going to be an interesting summer. The Angel is another great read by Tiffany Reisz that is erotic and keeps readers in constant suspense.
