Susan Andersen a Seattle native was born in 1950 and raised in a family where she was mainly surrounded by men starting from her father, her two elderly brothers and her grandfather. She admits that the male figures in her life diluted her mother’s influence by diverting her attention to things such as the danger of answering nature’s call late into the night. To her, such experiences hinted her towards what those raised in a less spit-and scratch world go through joking giving an examples that always check before you seat because chances are the seat might be up. Through school she trained as a dental assistant even though she openly never liked working for dentists. She eventually married her high school sweet heart and together they were blessed with a son.

On her 30th birthday, she developed a feeling that she may already be having the life experience to string an entire book to share her experience so far with others. She published her first novel in 1993 and since then has been nominated at least three times for the “Romantic times Magazine reviewer’s Choice award” which she eventually won in the year 1998 for her book titled “Baby I’m yours”. What’s more, she has also appeared at least three times on the list of the top 10 novels picked as’s editorial Choice in 2001, 2002 and in the year 2003.

Susan also admits that having brothers was completely a mixed bag. For instance, that whenever anyone messed with her, they were always quick offering to beat them up. As much as that was a nice gesture she claims that she felt guys generally loved fighting since her welfare was never of concern instead of it the urge to fight.
