After that, her Guardian named Osias Aron comes to retrieve her from the master, due to which Miranda is brought along in the ride and finds her new owner as a man being after her body and heart. After a little while she gets attacked and is left brutalized to near death. This shakes Osias from within as he finds himself unable to protect her from all types of dangers surrounding her, as he had previously promised her. He also does not seem to have the same lust that he used to have previously for having her in his arms once again. When the two of them arrive in their home-world, the matters get out of Osias’s hands. Later, Miranda gets ensconced in the Aerie of Women, which causes Osias to get bound to and engage in the practices and customs of his race in order to win his lady back.
