BBC Radio 2 Book Club Picks

The BBC Radio 2 Book Club began in 2010 as a regular feature on Simon Mayo’s Drivetime show. After periods under several Radio 2 presenters, it was relaunched in 2024 with Sara Cox as host and a weekly BBC Sounds podcast.

The club highlights newly published fiction across genres, combining major authors with debuts and emerging voices. Its selections are made with support from The Reading Agency, librarians, and reading experts across the UK.
